Location - very near to LRT stations
Unable to change money at the hotel.
Needs a bit of updating - furnishings a bit tired.
Breakfast area very busy due to conferences - not enough tables.
Having to pay cash for room service and laundry.
The pool are is very basic.
Our stay was pleasant but the hotel looking a little tired and is in need of updating. When we checked in we gave our credit card at the desk as a guarantee but for some reason the staff did not take a copy so when we had room service and set some laundry we had to pay in cash!!! Seemed a bit odd.
Breakfast some mornings was like a rugby srum as they had a number of conferences in and there was not enough room for everyone. The buffet was varied and the food good (if you could get at it).
We enjoyed our stay overall and the Reception Staff were very helpful but don't expect help with your bags!
Restaurant Tip : There is a great food court on the top floor of the Sogo Department Store as well as some good restaurants.

Unable to change money at the hotel.
Need of some updating.
Having to pay for room service and laundry in cash.
Basic pool area.
We had a pleasant stay but the hotel is in need of updating. Most of the funishings are tired and the rooms in need of painting. The breakfast buffet was good - if you could get near it or even find a table to sit at and the pool are was very basic.
Although we gave our credit card in when we checked in (eventhough we weren't asked for it!) we had to pay cash for room service and laundry as no copy of it was made which was extremely annoying. The reception staff were very helpful but don't expect any help with your bags!!!

a bit old, during the night at 2 of the morning someone was knokcking our door. After that 10 minutes someone tried to open the inside door that comunicates with the other room. A bit scary. Not fault of the hotel.
Just in front of the touristic bus, crew really nice
Its a nice place, really ugly building int he outside, is more a 3 star hotel for me. Really clean that's true, the breakfast is ok and the crew is nice.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : use the hip on hip off bus!

Location and easy availability of shopping and food outlets
hotel is ageing. this is my 9th stay in the hotel and it's about time they spruce up the rooms.
I've always enjoyed my stays at Quality Hotel KL because it gives me the convenience that I need. Location is great with the monorail & LRT within short walking distance and if you are a shopping addict, plenty of shops are abound.
Hotel facilities wise, rooms are spacious for a family of 4 but are overdue to be upgraded.
Shopping Tip : The LRT and monorail nearby gives you quick access to KL city centre. It's fast cheap and convenient.

We stayed for three days in the hotel and were surprised that breakfast was not included. This is our fourth trip to KL and have stayed at various hotels where breakfast was included.

I really liked the hotel, felt more like a four star hotel than a shabby three star one. 5min cab ride to KL Sentral, 10min to KLCC.
