Great Location but further renovation needed

Second time staying here and this time the toilet did not really work/ function properly. Need further repair. The outlook of room looks outdated but most important thing is that it is clean. The staffs were generally friendly.
Will recommend to friends but please fix the sewerage system of the toilets. Rather frustrating flushing it over and over again

I and my family feel very happy stay in this Hotel. Near shopping complex especially SOGO. Very easy to get food around the area. The hotel is quite old but still good maintain. The swimming pool is clean and comfortable. The staffs are quite good but must improve for better service to the customer. I hope to stay again in future when coming to Kuala Lumpur.

i was warmly welcomed on arrival. the hotel is dated and could do with some work to bring it up to standard. the pool area was disappointing and need to be cleaned. the rooms are perfectly equipped, with tea and coffee making facilities available. you can choose for smoking or none smoking rooms. breakfast was excellent, with a varied choice of dishes to choose from. a taxi was ordered by the porter as i was leaving. overall pleasant.

In my recent stay (C/In: 24 Jan 2013 & C/Out: 26 Jan 2013). My stay in the hotel was quite a painstaking one. The Wifi Internet & plug in doesn't work in the room . So we had to come down to the lobby area to share the Front Office Wifi, When you are at the lobby, you will have 20 other guest doing the same thing- sharing the Front Office Wifi.The mattress in the rooms are hard and not comfortable.I had personally killed cockroaches which sharing the same room with me..In the cafe the ceiling is damp by aircon or sewage pipe, but don't be surprise if the water droplet got onto you while you are sitting in the Cafe, or worst still a drop or 2 gets in you food you, order. If this is the frontage where I as a guest experience, I dare not imagine the condition of the Kitchen and back office of the Hotel.
Shopping Tip:
SOGO Mall is just about 5 -10 minutes walk from the Hotel.

Read lots of negative comments before staying. Our expectations were low, but were pleasantly surprised. The motel is a very standard quality for Choice Hotels.
Shopping Tip:
Lots of bargain shopping nearby. There are also some upscale malls within walking distance.
