Overall the stay at this Hotel was very good, ideally located in the heart of KL with only a few minutes walk to all the major attractions. There are hotel closer the twin towers but I found this one to be better as itoffered more options, having the east and the west wings makes this a better option. I will stay here again.

- Good Location - Big Rooms - Very friendly Staff

Was only there for 2 days so I cant relly comments

  • Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Twin Towers

The Renaissance Hotel was an excellent place to stay in KL. It is beautifully appointed and has a range of restaurants. Staff were friendly and helpful and made you felt very comfortable. We got an excellent deal through Agoda and would highly recommend it. The view of the twin towers ar night was amazing and memorable

Very well set up hotel - good rooms and great view of the twin towers. Pool area beautiful.Great position to get to tourist sites. Excellent breakfast

Pressure on arrival to upgrade room at additional cost. Checked many times if breakfast was included and told it was then charged at end of stay - they did, however, not charge after complaint

  • Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Hop on Hop off bus goes right by the hotel and this is an excellent way to get a taste of KL

What a night! Guest Rating: 1.5

I think there are two hotels in this facility. When I went to check-in counter, I was told that it was in another wing. They apparently have east-west wing. However, the east wing that I was booked in, does not seem as nice as the west wing. Then they put me in a 'run of the house' room. If I had known that they would do this, I would prefer to book Nikko or some other places for US$20 more. The room is old, the air-con control didn't work, so it was very cold. The carpet is infested with fungus or green-like creature. Bathroom is worn-out. I would have stayed at Nikko my usual choice.

None

Old room, fungus-infested carpet, worn-out bathroom, bedding/comforter looked like 2-star hotel.

Good location, that"s all. Guest Rating: 2.3

They gave us a bad room with view to their backyard you could look on the swimmingpool. How fun is that?? And a lot of junk. We had a single bed on the first night and wanted to change that after our first night it was a big deal from their side, so we get a room for smoker with a double bed in their peak season and you had to talk with their manager. So 5-star it is not and in no country perhaps for how big it is. In my opinion it is hopefully a 3-star. You pay a lot for nothing..

Near to the monorail. Friendly doormen.

They are constructing new buildings around and if you are unlucky you have the view of the backyard.

  • Shopping Tip : You can buy a lot for the same prices in our country and you get more value for it. They have same prices in all country depending on which shop you go in to. So wait until you come home and buy things in your own country.

I was impressed by the pictures I saw of this hotel. However the hotel in general was not that impressive. I had to struggle with drainge system of the bathroom. I thanked god that I had to spend one night only in this hotel. I was not impressed.

Good staff welcoming.

I had severe problems in the bathroom drainage system. Flooded with water. I expected better conditions.

The breakfast buffet is not worth trying for 45 MR plus taxes.

  • Nightlife Tip : Try to visit zouk disco which is just 2 mins away, but it is only open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

We did not eat in the hotel, but I suspect it would have been of a high standard.

  • Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Walking distance to the Petronis Tower and the light rail.
