A few minor hickups but al worked out great!

There was a bit of miscomunication at the start,but once things were set in place, things worked out great.Great room service,Laundry service and the food at their restarants was excellent.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
the kl bird park was good, but the batu caves where a dissapointment.

we upgraded which was well worth the money - from dining room/meals to staff the best service and staff on the whole of our holiday - on our next trip would definagtely look for a hotel in the same group
Shopping Tip:
not alot to do there but the sightseeing bus is a must and also the chinese area where there nis a night market - plenty of fun with priceing

Good location centrel to attractions

Arrived feeling a little tired, but were soon checked in and bags taken to rooms. Although had asked for a non smoking room and there was a sign in the room saying non smoking there was still a slight smell in the room. The room was a reasonable size, clean, with a large very comfy bed. Pool area lovely and well maintained.We thought the hotel was in a very good position near to most things, the monorail, patronas towers and the kl tower, but there is a lot of building work going on around the hotel, this didn't really bother us to much. Service in the hotel was very good and we intend to stay at the Renaissance on our return trip from Australia
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
When busy best to book Patronas towers in advance!

the staff at this hotel's front desk are very nice. a lady checked us in and sort of upgraded me to one of their demo new rooms as my original room had twin beds not a king size and i didn't want that.the front desk were very nice and very helpful throughout. having said that, the hotel it self does not reach anywhere close to a 5 star. its old, doesn't smell great, my colleague's room had an issue with the a/c, the lobby was warm, the breakfast restaurant staff are not very good, they will let you sitting there until you go up to them and ask for your coffee, the concierge was looking at us as the taxi stopped at the hotel entrance and didn't offer to help till i called him. i wouldn't stay there again and i am surprised that a marriott brand like the renaissance lacks all these standards. its a great location and this place has a massive potential but it seems no one cares as long as its going...
Restaurant Tip:
eat at hokkaido japanese sea food place opposite vistana hptel. about 15 minute drive from klcc, google its exact address, you will love it.

In contrast, the stay was great. Though this kind of room is not actually recommended for families as it is quite small. Apart from that, the room was great! Also the decoration was sensational. This hotel seems to be older than others but I would recommend it.
