Large hotel, great location and pool
fantastic view of the petronas and night city from hotel room, should request this though.

We arrived late at night and were taken to room, broken tv, fidge and phone. we were relocated on the same floor to a room which was bigger and with a fantastic view of the petrons. location wa great, few mins to mono rail and easy enough to walk to the main streets. I didnt like that people were openingly smoking in some floors or areas but our room was fine.

we enjoyed staying in the renaissance . the rooms were big and the king size bed was very comfortable.the dynasty restaurant , chinese , is worth a visit , we ate the peking duck , delicious.

A nice Hotel in a Good Location

this is a nice 5 star hotel in a great location. only 2 minutes walk to a mono rail station, 10 minutes walking distance to twin towers and one the biggest shopping malls in kl. this hotel offers a fantastic service to its guests. the receptionist and the duty manager were really helpful.
some of the rooms have the view of twin towers - the view in night time is spectacular. for business travellers is an ideal hotel.

The pool was huge, well maintained and even had a swim up bar. The rooms were spacious, mine had a great view, and the beds are very very comfortable. The bathrooms also gave a pampering feeling. This is not for a budget travelers, as any add-on will cause your wallet to be seriously thinned out.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you want to go up the Petronas twin towers, either line up at 630 am, or wait until after 10am then buy tickets for the next day.

the reinassance kuala lumpur is located at a short walk away from the twin petronas towers in the klcc area, convenient for shopping, restaurants, etc.
we loved the room at the hotel. it was really big, with a very comfortable king size bed.
we also used the hotel swimming pool. it was of a decent size. however, it is in the shade all morning. the main building of the hotel blocks the sun.

The public areas were nice. The staff were courteous and very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms need a facelift they are becoming quite dated. The leaking airconditioning unit was a bit of a health concern. The staff were efficient and very courteous at the front desk and the concierge desk.
Shopping Tip:
Be sure to do your homework first before travelling and be up to date with your prices. You may be quite surprised to find their are not necessarily the bargains you had hoped for however the selection is endless.
