Lovely hotel. Please beware that the 'free' convenient shuttle is from the Main Airport only. if you fly into the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (eg on Air Asia) then you need to independantly get the shuttle bus to the Main Airport and then get the shuttle buggy to the hotel. Both times the Sama Sama help desk at the Low Cost Carrier Terminal was unattended so no help was available there. Once you get to it, a wonderful hotel!

Frankly, I have been staying here on all my arrivals and departures from Kuala Lumpur since KLIA opened in the lat-nineties. This is because my flights from New Zealand arrive around 9 p.m. which is well after midnight on my body clock; including local flights and connection waits in NZ my travel takes nearly 20 hours each time. By the time I check in at this hotel (whose new name "Sama Sama" strikes Dutch speakers as vaguely down-market, sorry) I'm more than ready for a shower and a good bed. The alternative, a taxi to my ultimate destination in rural Selangor is best left till daylight hours. Previously, my taxi drivers have got lost in heavy rain, taking 3 hours over a 45m journey. This is how I became a regular guest at this fine hotel.

Convenient, great access to airport

We were traveling through Malaysia and had only one day there. Sama Sama was a bit more than I had wanted to pay, but with three small children the location (connected to the airport) and service made up for it. They had checking right in the airport and checkout on the executive floor. Very convenient. The food was also delicious.

From checking in to out the whole experience was most enjoyable, a lot of thought and effort has gone in to make you feel special. We had booked a deluxe room but were upgraded to the premier floor, complimentary dinner and breakfast, the room was large and comfortable, the bathroom was perfect, check out was done by the staff on the premier floor and was quick and easy, we went to airport check in using the buggy service, once again everything just flowed along. First class and thanks to everyone.

Free upgrade to Premier room, great pool, great staff and service

We arrived at the hotel and my husband enquired about the room upgrade (there was a notice on the check in desk about this possibility). I said not to worry about it, however the desk manager offered the upgrade for free. We were on the Premier floor and it included free drinks (tea, coffee, soft drinks) all day, cocktails and canapes in the evening and a great breakfast. You can also check out at the desk on the floor. The staff were fantastic.

Perfect airport hotel

It was excellent, the check-in at the airport was efficient and quick. The room was perfect for our needs as we were collecting a car from the airport next day. Staff were helpful and very professional. Room furnished to a very high standard and well equipped .

Great stopover on international flights
Easy check-in at the airport, easy and fast transport to the hotel, great swimming pool and restaurant

Staying a night (or a day) at the hotel is a great way to break up a long international flight. Our 11 month old baby could sleep in a baby bed and play in the pool. It made travelling a lot easier.

It was good. The hotel was a very pleasant oasis away from the hussle and bustle of KL airport.
