A hostel in the middle of the bar street
1. The best location if you like bars. 2. 5-minute walk to the famous food street (Jalan Alor) 3. 10-minute walk to the monorail station and several shopping centres

10 minutes walk from the Bukit Bintang Monorail station, this hostel is in a central location that is hard to beat. Changkat Bintang, the street it is located on has bars and clubs, and connects to Jalan Alor the famous food street. Shopping is nearby, from the high class Pavillion to the tech paradise Low Yat, there is something for everyone. Have to pay for lockers which is a bit of a bummer, but 1 rm is not too bad. Breakfast is only toast and eggs, but there is loads of food all around included Western staples. Did I mention the fast Wifi? Go. You won't regret it!

i had a great stay in the hostel, the staff is great,so i i was really not expecting that the hostel is very clean...thankful to have them to worked in the hostel they are very accommodating.Janet the caretaker is very attentive to her duties assigned, the 2 great guy are helpful also..my suggestion in the hostel is that they shud have a poster/notice written outside the door of each room just a few reminders of the guest: i.e: ex: observe silence some guest are still sleeping, close the door slowly and gently and in the pantry they shud hav a notice there that breakfast will be served at 7am till 10am only in order for us the guest to know what time we eat....worst thing ive seen in the hostel is the facilities all are spoilt,shower head,block sink,toilet door...

great hostel and service with a smile

The hostel has a great location for anyone who wants to enjoy the nightlife in kuala lumpur. I stayed here for 2 nights and it was pleasant. The breakfast was great, and they provide you with fresh towels. The staff is very helpful.. it can get a little bit loud in the evening, but overall its great value for your money, and i would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Only Cheap Prices Are Attractive

I was a single traveler and stayed at Serenity Hostel for two nights. I liked choosing cheap but good hostels on Agoda.com, but this time the experience was really disappointing.
I arrived in Kuala Lumpur at around 21:30 on the first day evening and spent the following 2.5 hours in finding the hostel! Kuala Lumpur was a tiny city and the hostel was just located by a bar street in downtown. But at night, you could never find it because of the crowd! If you want to live there, you'd better find it and check-in in the day.
From the hostel by walk, you could reach KLCC in 20 min, or Pudu Sentral in 20 mins, or Bukit Bintang in 10 mins. The staff who received me at night was quite friendly. I like him very much.
But besides the location and staff, I could hardly find anything good. The infrastructure was poor and the environment was noisy. Of course, if you like parties, it cannot be a better choice.
At last, maybe I should be happy, because the prices were really cheap and affordable for students like me.
