The stay would have been better if.......

we asked for an adjoining room; the only ones available were on the executive levels. we were told only to pay an additional rm/per night. but upon checking-out; we were charge rm/per night. the staff said its rm/ per room, per night... how ridiculous !!!
they should have been more precise and clearer in their explanation... just mentioned that it is rm/per night.. its obvious that adjoining rooms are of 2 rooms.
its not about affordability but rather the bad feeling of being mislead.

This was my first time spending the night in Seri Pacific Hotel and it did not disappoint. Being listed as a 5-star hotel, at the price I paid for it through Agoda, I definitely would not hesitate to stay here again should the opportunity arise.
It was a smooth sailing experience since the very beginning. Reception was very courteous and fast - it took me less than 10 minutes from the moment I stepped in front of the counter to my being in my room resting on my big comfortable bed. There as ample space in the parking area and I was given a coupon which allowed me to get in and out of parking at any time without any additional payment.
There is a mall opposite the hotel and several eateries close by. However, as I spent most of my time elsewere, I did not get to explore the area as much as I wanted to. There is a train station closeby and I find that very convenient should I ever stay at the hotel again without having a car to drive around.
As my room was quite a way up, I loved the trip up the glass elevator as it allowed me to see a beautiful view of a part of Kuala Lumpur. The hotel was generally quiet throughout my stay as there were no events held at the nearby PWTC. If you want to stay here, make sure you check the calendar for major events as tends to get very busy.
All in all, if I were thinking of pampering myself with a quiet stay in the city, I would definitely come here again.
Restaurant Tip:
If you're a fan of Japanese cuisine, make sure you visit their Japanese restaurant - Kofuku. Delicious!

Way below Pan Pacific Standard

My encounter with the receptionist was no more than writing name and taking key, no smile, no greeting and no warmth. My entry to the room was tarnished with the sticker glue stain on the door. Inside, an under-maintained chamber with basic facilities. Not only one, but a few of fused light bulb. Cheap blanket used, stained and old carpet for I refused to even bare my feet. Plastic electrical kettle that cause cancerous cell. Aircon took ages to get cool. Small swimming pool was fair since Pan Pacific.
For what I have paid, I think RM150 worth a budget hotel would have been much better with the basic in place, at least.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Sunway Putra Hotel used to be the Legend will be more prospective just right across the Seri Pacific.
