Nice but Old Five-Star Hotel
Very near to LRT station, nice swimming pool in the 4th floor and good view to Petronas towers.

We arrived early before check-in time but we were given a room immediately with a nice view of the Petronas Towers. The reception staff was very accommodating and provided us the necessary information we inquired. LRT station is just a 3 to 5 min walk across the foot bridge and from there you could link to the monorail if you want to go to Sungie Wang for shopping. Breakfast buffet was very nice with lots of choices. Just like check-in, our check out was very fast with a taxi ready for us to the airport.

I had a great time staying at the Seri. I stayed there for 8 days but on and off and the staff was great about keeping my luggage and always welcoming me back. The buffet was fantastic as well as their Christmas Eve buffet. They had a lot of personal touches for the holidays, which was really nice. Everyone was very helpful and kind. The only downfall was the internet connection is not great on the Ipad and you could only access it in the lobby.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Don't recommend the tour agency the hotel uses. Most of the tours sounded better then they were.

Great place to stay in KL

If I go back visiting KL, I would choose this hotel again. I got a very good promo deal for one night stay, the room and the bath is very nice. We had a view of Petronas Twin Towers and the hotel itself has an elegant feel. Check-in and Check-out was quick, no fuss. And it's easy to go around since the hotel is near both to an LRT and railroad station.

The hotel is well located near the MTR and easy to get around. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Our room had a nice view and breakfast was lovely with lots of variety.

The location is quite good, although it's not locate in the heart of the city, it's very near to the LTR. The service is quite good. The infrastructure in the room is a little bit old. The overall condition is good.

Worth the money if you get 50 percent discount
location, interior design, bathroom, can leave luggage for few days when we are leaving somewhere outside KL

The receptionist was not friendly or rude, in Indonesia she wud be fired or moved to another section. But it's almost everywhere in Malaysia. This country is not a place to find hospitality.
I wrote an email before to ask for non smoking king size bed and the receptionist insisted they did not have any. when i got really worried because my husband has asthma, suddenly they had the room. she did not say anything, just changed the room. so rude. no smile, no welcoming words. why the hotel employ such rude staff to be in receptionist desk?
the room is spacious but the roof was not high enough, so it feels like the room was not big. i like the interior design, but the table still had mark from coffee spilled on it. the bathroom was really nice.
internet was LAN and can only connect to one computer. TV channels are not plenty. swimming pool was clean, but so so.
Overall I think this hotel is like 4 star going 3 star. I would not stay here if I have to pay for more than 70-ish usd.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
to go anywhere, you can conveniently take the LRT just across the hotel.
