We enjoyed our stay at the Shangri La. it has a fantastic location in KL and the service we received was exceptional. Staff were extremely helpful, food at the hotel was excellent, and our room and other hotel facilities were great. Only thing that fell below expectations was the swimming pool which was quite small and basic.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
When you need a taxi use the blue ones you can get from the hotel they are no more expensive than the ones you get on the street but are all very clean and air conditioned unlike some of the ones we got on the street.

the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. they bought a baby cot into our room for no charge and set it up.
staff and breakfast were also superb, helping to looking after our young son while we ate our breakfast.
highly recommend to anyone with kids!
Shopping Tip:
They have a free shuttle bus that goes to various points in they city. This can be extremely handy

Shangarila is a clean, confortbale, convinent place to stay.
there are many friendly staffs, high quality facilities, really can make people enjoy the journey in Kuala Lumpur. But everything in the hotel which need to pay seems too much expensive. there are many night club and shopping mall near by, so if you stay here, you will always have somthing to do from morning to mid night!

we had a wonderful stay here. we were upgraded and the suite was very spacious and clean. it was very well equipped. expresso machine, expensive toiletries, 3 flat screen tvs, walk-in wardrobe to name a few. the bed was extremely conmfortable.
the staff were professional throughout and helpful.
we have stayed in a few hotels in kl and we have no doubt that this has to be the best.
Restaurant Tip:
The Lemon Garden Cafe has a wonderful buffet!!! Local, regional and western food offered.

We got a weekend deal that was excellent value for money. It was just what I'd expect from a top-notch 5 star hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and thoughtfully designed, the staff were helpful and courteous, the hotel was very well-equipped and the breakfast buffet was fantastic in terms of quality and choice. Also in a good location about 10 mins walk from KLCC and 5 mins from the monorail station. Would love to stay there again.

horizon lounge and the staff

we were gretted on arrival by lovely and helpful staff taken up to horizon club lounge and treated so well for our whole stay.
we were upgraded to a suite that was stunning.
would def stay again
pool was a little small but great views of petronas towers from pool
