the staff was , the room was huge and the bathroom was set up perfectly! they provided high quality toiletries of a brand i wasn't familiar with. there was always a friendly face to help you get around or make suggestions about places to go for shopping and sightseeing. i loved the way the room was laid out, great design and convenient access to electrical outlets (240 v) and they even had an hdmi input and a patch panel for the tv in the computer desk! i was impressed. separate bathtub and shower was very nice!
when i arrived at the hotel , asni (beautiful malaysian woman) at reception greeted me by name and suggested i upgrade to a "club room". (make sure you do that!) access to the horizon club lounge for free food and beverages is worth any price. booze is not free , tho, except for 5-7 pm. turns out it only cost me an extra 30 dollars a day for this great benefit. so whenever i got tired from shopping or sightseeing i could hang out in this exclusive lounge at no charge with friendly staff and great free food and desserts. one day i did not have atm access because of a mix up with the bank , and i was able to eat world class dining and drink for free. it was like mega-paradise that day.
the jazz band plays every night 8-midnight except for mondays. they are awesome. i'm talking super smooth music, with a guy named albert playing a 6 string yamaha trb bass. very serious professionals!!
the location was ridiculously perfect!! walking distance to several nightclubs that are packed with women: beach club, rum jungle , and a thai night club (can't remember the name) across the street. i'm telling you it's a 3 or 4 minute walk tops, to these happening bars.
for sightseeing you can get a cab to batu caves (must-see) or take the monorail to imbi station to shop at times square mall. pavilion mall is only 4 minutes by taxi. it's actually "walking distance" if you don't mind the heat and the blind turns getting back to the hotel . mid valley megamall also
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
must see: batu caves! it's a cultural treasure and immensely cool, especially if you're a photographer. it's a shutterbug's dream ! seriously great shopping at the malls, easy access , and plenty plenty of women to be picked up at the bars i mentioned: vietnamese , cambodian, chinese, and filipina chicks all over the place. probably some thai as well but i did not meet any.

It was a wonderful experience. Treated like a King and Queen. The buffet breakfast has many choices. One cannot get bored or tired with the spread of food. The Hotel is near to Monorail. There are many choices of transportation.

we couldnt have been happier with our stay, stayed in one of the suites, which was very reasonable priced and we were generously provided with an additional foldout bed at no cost to us. room was beautifully cleaned every day, huge array of toiletries, coffee, cruit topped up every day. do yourself a favour and get a room that comes with horizen club priveledges, it includes an all you can eat breakfast, huge variety of foods plus you can ask them to make you anything you want, eggs, omelettes, waffles, pancakes, sausages (but no bacon obviously). it also includes all you can eat afternoon tea between 3 and 5, and from 5 to 7 its all you can eat/drink cocktails and canapes, heaps of beautiful little mini desserts, beers, variety of wines, plus pour your own spirits with a ton of mixers. all in all, this is a beautiful hotel, with outstanding staff and services, couldn't fault it in the slightest.
