this hotel is all about looking after their guests! nothing is too hard and the management is thinking ahead. for example: the gym personnel has a water bottle and towel on every exercise station. darous (gym attendant who is super clean), said to me: "you are on holidays, your time is precious so if you want to exercise, we need to make it easy for you"! wow!
Travel tip:
This hotel is very service oriented! Well located and the gym is outstanding!

This hotel had an absolutely fantastic location, nice and close to the petronas towers and shopping centres.
Not to mention it was dirt cheap to get anywhere in a taxi also.
Loads of restaurants in the area.
The service at the hotel was 5 star for sure.

it is a great location any the staff are very attentive. the pool seems a bit old and could do with a facelift but on the whole a goof place to stay. the room had a good bathroom. the room itself isn't very big but maybe there are more expensive rooms that are bigger.

I always enjoy the way Shangri-la makes me feel at home. The staff is impeccable and available at all times.
I found their hotel in KL to have quite small rooms in comparison to other Shangri's.

The Shangri-la in KL was ok. The interior and amenities were good. Our room was a corner room and the size was not as big as we thought it would be. The pool area was nice, but because of rain, we didn't get to hang out there very much. The location was good as it was in walking distance to the Petronas Towers and there was a free shuttle to the other malls
Hotel Feature Tip:
There's afternoon tea at the lobby cafe. However, the service and food was not as good as you would expect for a 5-star hotel cafe.

we booked a horizon club exec room and when we checked in was upgraded to a suite room. the suite room was so spacious.it was such an excellent service received and the staff at the horizon club floor were all very friendly especially kat. she made sure we were comfortable and whenever we were having drinks at the horizon club, she would always come by to have a chat with us and asked if everything was fine. the food served during breakfast was also a big spread.
