Overall we would rate the sucasa and would return again if we have a need to be back in Kuala Lumpur. Travelling with 2 young children it is excellent to have 2 seperate rooms rather than be stuck in 1 hotel room. The gym facilities are very good, there is access to the internet via the Persia Restaurant across the road if you have your own laptop - cards can be bought RM10 for 5 hours, RM15 for 10 hours and RM25 for 20 hours - the internet will then work in your room. Breakfast is not so good and not really worth rushing down for. The staff don't seem to be overly friendly or attentive but then we have just spent a month ion Thailand where everybody just seems so helpful in comparism. Value for money though I would recommend the sucasa apartments.

The gym and access to WI FI via the Persia restaurant across the road.

Staff could be a little more friendly.

  • Hotel Feature Tip : Excellent gym and internet cards avialable at the Persia Restaurant across the road for very reasonable prices.

Avoid peak season. Otherwise it is a nice, conveniently located place. Facilities are good. Suitable for a small family.

Since the refurbishment, the lobby looks good and airy, the pool area is lovely and the rooms are well-appointed.

During peak season like at the end of July/August, housekeeping does not come every day. You need to call. Avoid this time of year "Arab season" - - Arab kids can be a pain - - playing with elevators and pushing all the buttons!

If you need to go to Kuala Lumpur to be at an embassy, and you're traveling with children, this is a good place to stay.

Renovations are under way (including a large swimming pool) and this place will likely be better once these are completed. We travelled around Asia for 12 weeks and would have considered this to be our most disappointing hotel.

  • Travel tip : The Victoria Station restaurant within walking distance of the hotel is excellent.
