Great Getaway! Guest Rating: 4.2

My daughter of 8 years old had a great time with me and my husband. Great amusement and water parks all in one at the foot of the hotel. Very convenient if you do not want to explore the country but just to have a get away and have fun. Next to the hotel is one of the biggest mall in asia. You could spend a full day and still not cover all the shops! Great for shopaholics and with more ringgit to spend, I had a ball!

The amusement park and giant shopping mall are right at the hotel's door steps. Great place to relax and have fun with the (younger) family. Great Hotel Rooms

No convenient way to get public taxi service. Only hotel limousine that costs a bomb.

• Hotel Feature Tip : Make taxi arrangement to pick you up as it is difficult to book the public/meter taxi to come into the hotel to get you to the airport. If you book the hotel limousine, it costs you about 100 ringgit to get to the airport!

The hotel is great clean and very fast for check in. We like the room and they give us a higer room as complementry.

Clean, Nice staff, big room, very nice mall.

Don't go in Tuesday the water world is closed. far from the City Center.

Since I have known the hotel I am telling all my friends that if they do not visit sunway lagoon resort hotel, they know nothing about malaysia. The hotel is a very good picture to the tourism services in all Asia,in fact i admired everything there and at the same time i have decided to bring all my family to spend some days in that hotel, due to that high class services. I say that the rooms rate still reasonable, all the best and best regards.

I considered sunway lagoon resort hotel my best station as I never enjoyed a stay in all my life better than that beautiful hotel, wide rooms and very well furnished, high class decoration, fantastic restaurants, marvelous swimming pools, unforgettable services wish more progress and developments, actually you are the engineers of tourists, and you are very respectful business people and investors.

Nice hotel to stay Guest Rating: 4.2

It has a nice appearance, and looked even more beautiful at night, it has a big shopping mall just in 5 minutes walking distance, and close at around 10 pm. Beware of taking taxi they dont go by meter there, you have to check with hotel about the approximate fare. When I took taxi directly from airport to hotel, it took around RM60.

Nice breakfast, good service and fast response, swimming pool is nice, and gym facility is good.

There is no free internet access in room yet

• Restaurant Tip : It has a Old Town White Coffe just located in the Jusco first floor, there you can try local malaysian food and nice coffee in inexpensive price.

We were disappointed with this hotel. It had the wow factor upon entering but this wore off with the poor service and lack of information. Go after the 30th June 2008 as that's when the renovations are to be completed. I can't guarantee that the staff will be anymore helpful!

• Travel tip : Ask at reception for the 20% discount vouchers for entering the theme park, they won't be offered to you.

The food at West Lake Garden Chinese is of the highest quality I have experienced. Outstanding.

• Shopping Tip : Always bargain at the market. You'll find you purchased things at less than half the orginial priced quoted. Also, the taxis at the hotel are almost double the price. Walk a few steps outside the complex and organise your own.
