*Buffett dinners at the hotel are quite cheap compared to normal hotel prices!
*Staff very friendly and accommodating
*24 hour mini mart across the street
*Great location (in terms of being in Bukit Bintang, close to shops and a short cab ride to KL Sentral)
*Gym has great cardio facilities *location in terms of shops - you have a four lane road to cross to get on to the main shopping strip in Bukit Bintang which leads you to the major shopping centres in this suburb.
*pool is very small
*TV in room is very small - small square flat screen Overall our stay in the Swiss Garden was great. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the hotel is nice and modern. The gym has much more equipment then most other hotels which say "gym" in their description however the pool is very small. The business lounge is open late and provides free tea and coffee which is a nice change.
Shopping Tip : Head to Sungae Wang, Times Square and the Pavilion.

Modern feel, 2 plasma screens in both bedrooms, comfortable beds, sufficient storage space, excellent location and good choice of room menu. Privacy. Room corridors reek of old carpet smell. Flushing system needs to be improved. Water temperature and colour inconsistent-sometimes not warm or brown in colour. Ridiculous internet room charges. Mini cooler faulty. Overall I will give it a 9/10 for comfort and design. Modern feel which I personally like. 2 flat screens in my family unit is also an added bonus. My only gripe is the common bathroom & toilet for family unit which can be a hassle esp in the morning. Internet cost RM57 for a mere 30 mins. The clock starts clicking the moment you select start internet. Makes more sense to check email in internet cafes than hotel. More economical unless you've got money to burn. Housekeeping is excellent and very professional. Clean sheets daily. Piping system needs to be relooked coz flush sometimes get choked.
Restaurant Tip : Mins walk to the famed Chinese restaurant Wong Ah Wah at Alor Street. Excellent cuisine! Try the Hokkien noodles and bbq chicken. Yummy!

Centrally located, Nice staff, Clean hotel, Small gym and pool The Swiss Garden Hotel is a very nice hotel, with value for money, located centrally. Taxi stand is just in front of the hotel. The rooms are clean and with quite some space, bathroom are little older but still very practical and clean. The hotel is close to Jl. Bukit Bintang (on walking distance). Nice view from the hotelroom, we could see the Telecom Tower, which is also worthwile to visit as you can climb higher than the spectecular Petronas towers. Since this was the first time visit to Malaysia, we have a very good and positive impression of the people. We will be back and recommend KL to all. Also when you like shopping!

facilities i.e spa / gym and room svc all ok Only brakfast not much choice hotel location is close / walking distance to bukit bintang area / pavilion mall / lot 10 / petaling street / masjid india. also close to LRT station which can bring you to KLCC / Ampang Park / ampang point. also close alot of restaurant i.e seafood / fast food for visitor like us , will stay again at swiss garden on our next visit to Kuala Lumpur.

Nice decor at lobby and restuarants though hotel has been established many years.
Good spread for breakfast. Value for money. There were limited number of ionizers to freshen up the rooms on the smoking floors. Though the housekeeping staff sprayed 'fresherner', the odor was still there. Buy more ionizers. During the last afternoon of our stay, my sister-in-law had a bad fall at the stair / entrance of the Hotel. It was no fault of the Hotel. The Conceige Manager was highly commendable for his fast, sincere, efficient and great efforts throughout the whole process. He made sure my sister-in-law had a proper place to sit down to rest before he arranged for the Hotel van to send her to the Hospital. He provided her with a wheelchair and to use at her disposal. No pressure whatsoever was added. The van driver waited with us at the Hospital for 2 hours !!! Everything was very well and efficiently handled. The rest of the front desk staff were also very caring and concern. This is something that is more important that the exterior of the hotel. It comes from the heart. We are all very impressed with the staff esp the Conceige Manager of Swiss Garden Hotel.
A BIG THANK YOU TO THEM ALL.
Travel tip : The Indian coffee shop across the Hotel - 24hours. Good roti chenai.

chek in time was 3pm that was so bad, 2ed parking dosn't have lift i have to carry up and down all the way havey suit-cases. i use to sepend ones a week in kl so i use to go do different hotels and i find this hotel have very good location and also good berakfast and the best part they were very firendly and helpful, the diserve to have 4 star. many hoteles carry 4 stare but they do not deserve it. but there was some problem there, parking which dosent have lift and chek in time was 3pm.
i think for such hotel they must have lift for parking and also i had visiter so all the way i had to come down to loby to get them up becuse to come up they need acceses card in some sense its so good for securety of guests but some how also difficalt.

The hotel room is spacious with good toilet facilities. Breakfast - limited varities for children. The swimming pool close too early. The hotel room already reserved with minimum hazzle. The security is good - the card key system for the lift. The room was spacious for 3 in a room at a reasonable rate. The toilet facilities is very good - shower, bath tub (my kids enjoy it). The hotel is located within walking distance from the bus interchange (PUDU) and near the Bukit Bintang shopping area. Breakfast, may be improve with more varities for the kids. Thanks.

The hotel's conveniently located just minutes away from Bukit Bintang and Jalan Alor food area. All in all the stay was good and comfortable. The room and sheets were clean. However that isn't the case for the toilet. We had a minor shock with the shit stain on the exterior of the toilet bowl and the bath tub was stained with lizard shit. Think the housekeeping forgot to clean the toilet...
We'll still look to stay here but will definitely request to change rooms the next time the toilet isn't clean...

The facade of the Hotel is presentable. The well proportioned design does gave the impression of good living. Generally, the hotel and room are clean. Service, especially the front counter was helpful to my queries and persistent demands. I was given a smoker room on my second day. The smell from the room was repugnant.They should check the room beforehand. The hotel has 2 wading pool--- i actually prefer a reasonable sized swimming pool instead. The location of hotel is good. 15 minutes away is a bus terminus, Pudu Raya, which enable convenient excursions to most parts of Malaysia. Across the road, about 10 minutes away from the hotel is Jalan Alor. Trust me, this road has many hawkers and reasonable prized restaurants,serving many varieties of food that would excite your palate. Along Bukit Bintang,next to Jalan Alor, is accessible to few very good class shopping centers--- E.G Berjaya Time Square.
Travel tip : Walk along Bukit Bintang, you will see good shopping centers. Along the road of Bukit Bintang, you will notice a diverse cultures of nationalities and their trades--- very unique to Asian countries.

Small swimming pool, opening hours of the swimming pool Really like the rooms, we had booked 5 rooms (3+2) and were really glad with all the rooms. The location of the hotel is quite central so you can walk to different places (plaza, restaurants etc). The reception was nice and helpful. Very nice buffet breakfast and nice Spa.
Cons: Small swimming pool, but still alright. Opening hours of the swimming pool 8am to 8pm. No complimentary water at arrival, but took one from the mini bar and negociated the next day.
Restaurant Tip : Bermuda & Onions restaurant very yummy!

Near to good shopping areas,and roadside food at Jalan Alor. This hotel does not have a proper swimming pool, only 2 little wading pool. Generally, this hotel is located near good shopping centers.Hawker food was plentiful, especially Jalan Alor along Bukit Bintang. Good shopping centers, such as Berjaya Time Square, lot 10, and sungei Wang, were within walking distant from the hotel. In addition, the hotel is near to Pudu Raya, a bus terminus, with so many buses that could be accessible to many parts of Malaysia--- I took a bus from there, about Ringgit 35 to Penang.

Not a big hotel yet cozy. Good spread of food for lunch. Atmosphere and facilities for training is just nice. Generally, my family is happy with the hospitality provided by the hotel room and service wise.The front office staffs are nice, friendly and helpfull. Given a choice, I will stay again in this hotel. We love the spread of food served varies from local to western and they are sumptous together with excellent desert.The training conducted in the hotel when smoothly with timely and catered coffee breaks.

still seeing people with or without room key inside the lift waiting for guest and press the level button together. Security need to be tighten
This is the first time i stayed in Swiss Garden Hotel and was suprise with the good condition of the room as compare to some of the hotel with the same standard. I would recommend this hotel to my friends if they wish to come down to KL. Even though my stay may not be long, but i can feel the ease of staying in this hotel. Overall I will give a rating of A for this hotel.
