Location, value for money, cleanliness
We found the Swiss Inn very comfortable, clean and staff willing to help. For the little extra make sure you book a delux room with window.
Breakfast was easy and only busy on Sunday morning.
Make sure you explore the Central Markets.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Use the local buses and monorail for travel round town. Easy to find and cheap.

Location, familar with area by now.
Rooms vary from no window room to double bed size. The Inn offers cheap and affordable rooms. Do not look beyond that. Electrical does not work in some rooms, water some days hot or cold.
I go to the Swiss Inn because of its location and closeness to the bus station. It would be great if they have wifi to the rooms, but not the case. Starbucks at the end of the street offer wifi. Computers in hotel are old, slow and slower. Go for the price and value of being in the middle of China Town.
Travel tip : Good place to go if you want relaxing area and shops by the hundreds.

Right in the China Town night market, you can shop, dine as much as you like, all in walking distance. Hotel is kind of old, however it's nicely maintained. Breakfast is better than average continental, they provide instant coffee
in every room.
Hotel Feature Tip : In room wireless would be nice.

tidy and neat,
near pudu station and Petaling Jaya Street
No Tooth brush and tooth paste provided.
No refrigerator.
A very tidy and neat low cost hotel that suitable for young couple. The space is quite small and just suit for 2 person stay.
Anytime can reach to petaling street to find the most valuable thing you like as the PJ street is just in front of the door. The only thing is you better prepare yourself the tooth brush and tooth paste as this basic thing is not provided inside the hotel.
Hotel Feature Tip : Remember to bring your own tooth brush and tooth paste!!

I was a little bit dissapointed at Swiss Inn due to its old facilites, especially the small toilet.
But the breakfast is fine and free for kid.

For the price this is probebly the worst hotel i have ever stayed at . I normally stay at cititell but thought i would stay in chinatown ,but that was a mistake. It was dirty there was no shower screen or curtain and water went all over the place . in all it was a nightmare. I would pray that no one ever will risk staying there

not very clean, and the price is higher than what you get
overall is a good hotel, not beyond expectation though. the location is in a very commercial area if you love shopping but it is quite far away from the tourist spot. if you want to explore kuala lumpur i will suggest petaling street area.7-11 is opposite to the street, when you find out the hotel do not supply tooth brushes and tooth paste it is useful.7-11 is opposite to the street, when you find out the hotel do not supply tooth brushes and tooth paste it is useful.7-11 is opposite to the street, when you find out the hotel do not supply tooth brushes and tooth paste it is useful.

Nice breakfast, great location, well designed rooms.
Generally a good stay and would return, BUt the hotel make a big thing of selling you a room with a window at an expensive rate, but the window just looks onto some dirty roofs and walls, so it maybe better to save the cash and stay in one with no window, as the rooms are well designed anyway.
Travel tip : Street food is this area is great, especially the satay!

good bar, nice taste fo food. back is a china town. So, it is very good for shopping.
The room is very small, and looks very old. Not really clean hotel, and the staff are not friednly as standart hotel.
The hotel is good for traveller who wants to shopp. For thosewho wants to stay in a hotel and relaxing might be better to find other one. Impress with the food, the taste is OK.
Shopping Tip : Just go to the bar, and get walk a long the market, which is right at the back of the bar. we can find thousands of choices of hand bags, purse, etc.

reception to rooms was a maze.
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, but i think it is time it had a face lift. The bathrooms are very small. Just a good overall cheap hotel for last minute shopping.
Travel tip : shopping just make sure you barter.

very central, nice breakfast, okay rooms to the price, good service at the hotel reception!
nothing...compared to the price, everything was fine.
Central and cheap hotel. You can walk to all the big sights from Swiss inn (KL tower, Petronas twin tower, aquaria and central market). This hotel is in china town, so the chinese market is just outside the door, and in the afternoon/night there is a lot of people and life in the streets nearby.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : we think that the taxi´s was very expencive, so if you can walk some few km, you can walk to most of the sights!

The Swiss Inn Hotel is wonderfully located in the heart of Kuala Lumpurs Chinatown, it is in the middle of Petaling Street where each day you have a Bazaar of stalls selling almost everything.
Within easy walking distance are a myriad of eating places so no one should be disappointed in the food availability. Also located within walking distance is Pasar Seni train station an easy way to get around the city including going to KLCC. The monorail is also walking distance and allows easy access to shopping areas such as Bukit Bintang and Times Square.
The hotel is comfortable though the rooms are a bit old and dark. The staff are very good and efficient. The food in the hotel is very good value for money and the buffet breakfast is also excellent and for us was included in the room price. We stayed along with 2 children for 6 days and the hotel was fine for all of us.
I will be staying here agin on my next trip to KL and would recommend this hotel as a great value for money stay.
Shopping Tip : The best shopping in KL is within easy reach
