Nice hotel, good location

The hotel is in a great location with friendly staff. We stayed in one of the cheaper rooms but had to move to one of the more expensive rooms our last night...there was no difference.

Good location
near to chinatown, but away from the noise. Not small. Prompt service!

We have elderly, and toddler in our room.
Check in was abit slow (typical of Malaysia hospitality) but we are allowed to check in around 12noon when official checkin is 2pm. The lift is also abit slow.
Less than 10min walk to Pasar Seni Station (if given the correct directions. We were given directions to a longer route the first time round by the staff).
About 1-2 streets from Chinatown so very near to the action yet far away from the noise (heard about the stalls making noise till 1am. We slept at 11am without problem!).
We thought the sink was spoilt and reported that around 9pm. No problem, their guy was up to our room to check within 5 minutes! :)
Comfortable bed, adjustable aircon (with degree and low/medium/high setting).
Simple breakfast but OK if your stay is only a few days.
Did not manage to try their free wireless though.
Will stay here again if I come back to KL and want to stay near Chinatown.

I originally thought that the staff at this hotel was unfriendly, but after staying for two or three days I have completely changed my mind. They are all smiles, remember my name (it's a large hotel), and are very accommodating. My major complaint is with the wi-fi, which is quite weak and slow. The breakfast is also terrible, but not a deal-breaker, given the location of the hotel (it's near a lot of food).

near to many attractions. in the heart of chinatown. near convenience stores. rooms are relatively clean. normal breakfast served. not so friendly staff. on a rainy day, i asked for an umbrella, i was told by the counter staff there is no umbrella, when the umbrella is just behind him. plus points, got wifi. overall, a budget stay. no complains.

The room is normal & clean, but as for toilet, I think maybe need some upgrade. Tv channel not much, no cartoon for kids to watch. The tap water, when using, still have to wait few mintues then can use because of the yellowish water. Breakfast, not much choice, almost everyday same food. No cold juice provided. Their sevices is excellent. Hotel is very very near to heart of Chinatown. There's lot of food stalls just few steps out of hotel. Very convience. Overall, I shall say okay.

Take metro to Imba and You will have so many shops and shopping malls to get bored.

worst trip to kl ever!
i check in around 1.30 for 2 rooms.
only 1 room was available so i was ask to stay in that room till my room is ready. and i only manage to check in around 4 pm!
i ask for hair dryer for both rooms and they only provide for 1 room.
the shower foam and shampoo are both different colour with same label! towels are not well clean.
breakfast was by far the worst i ever had in any hotel!
and when i check out the accuse me of stealing their hairdryer.
i don't even know how it look like !
i will never recommend any1 to go to this hotel ever again!
Travel tip:
take taxi from taxi stop. before u board make sure you confirm with them that they are charging you as per the meter rate.
claypot rice next to nanyang hostel is great! :d (2 block away from 5 element hotel)
go shopping at petaling street early !! (10am is the best) no killer rate! :d get stuff u want at a low low price!!! :d
