This is my 5th stay at Gardens Residences. Having stayed in some other service residences in KL (am currently in wedgewood for a month), this really is quite nice.
Location:
The location is fantastic as long as your know how to make it to the entrance of the hotel or carpark. Mid valley has some really strange roas system. Once in there, you have 2 malls to cater to your needs. The less crazy Gardens Mall and the Mid valley mega mall. In there you can find shops, movie theaters, massages, food.... And all joined to your hotel.
Rooms:
We usually stay in the 2 bedroom apt. It's got your 2 ensuites, note that one of the rooms has twins beds that can't be shifted. Comes with a kitchen, dining and living. They have several different layouts, the one we just stayed in has a lovely bathroom. We were in one of the corner rooms.
Service:
I have to say that the service in Gardens residence is not great. They are adequate for a service residence but not a hotel.
All in all, if you catch them at a good time, the rates are reasonable for the rooms you get. Book late and the rates are ridiculous.

Strategic location with shopping malls

Good for shopping experience & food.Strategic location, easily accessible to main highways but avoid peak hour traffic.Average room facilities for this class of hotel.Otherwise the room size is reasonable. Buffet breakfast just average stuff.Abundant shops for shopping & food lovers.
Plenty parking spaces & convenient but prefer free parking for hotel guests.

Great location. Room was spacious, shared a room with my colleague. Limited choice for television channels. Lots and lots of shopping at the connecting shopping malls - bookstores, mango, zara, department stores. Great entertainment - cinema, pubs (live band on weekends). Cheap and good massage. Will definitely be back for my next trip.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Do not take the 'blue' colour executive taxi, it cost much more than a normal taxi.

Great location. Love the spacious room size. Tip - you might want to pay a little more to stay at the residence instead of the hotel. Great for families - the residence comes with a kitchen and living room. Large toilet for master bedroom. English newspaper was provided daily.
Nightlife Tip:
Check out the pub 'library' located opposite the hotel at Mid Valley Mall. Drinks are priced reasonably and great live band during weekends.

2 wash basins, bathtub, partitioned toilet

Good location to stay if you want to do some shopping. Enjoyed the 2 wash basins, great if traveling with a partner, and the bathtub was nice. Big comfortable bed. Quality of service was alright, no complaints. No smoking throughout the hotel.

Good business hotel spot
Access to PJ and KL. Good food and beer for the lonely business man

The Gardens is a nice hotel and fairly priced. Traffic around Mid Valley . Convenience store, restaurants, and bars nearby. Tons of taxis to choose from
Restaurant Tip:
If youre hungry and its late, check out the mamak shop in the courtyard area. Bad mee mamak compared to anywhere else, but it hits the spot.
