Quiet place not convenient for commute though

To start with, the room that I was assigned upon checking-in was smelling like an old place as if it was unoccupied for a long time. I noticed that the house-keeping staff had left the windows open for ventilation previously. When I went down and spoke to check-in staff, they promptly offered me another room on a higher floor, which turned out to be okay.
The hotel location is a minus point especially if you are the sort that steps out of hotel several times. You have to depend on taxis. The nearest LRT station (Ampang Park) is 1.5 KM and easily a good 20-minute walk. You may take a taxi to station, which may cost about RM 4.
The internet was slow at times, but okay some other times. This is to be expected in KL hotels in general.
The pool side is breezy and quiet. Rght across the road there are good department stores and another adjoining fruit/ vegetable stores open until 7 pm. That was a blessing. These stores are quite useful for buying toiletries, provisions and groceries especially if you are a vegetarian or if you prefer self-cooking for some reasons.
