I think if you look for a value room at this hotel you will not be disappointed. Convenient for Bintag area, Times Square, Low Yat centre and so on.

The breakfast was expansive with friendly service. Free internet in the room would have been handy.

Royal Bintang is very centralised. The staff is very helpful and would go to that extra lenght to make your stay a pleasant one. The breakfast is super and literally "makes your day". The excursions are well organised. The whole day tour can be a bit tiring and the time to visit the museum is limited-so everyone has to literally run. Shopping is great, but one has to bargain-don't overdo it though cause I believe that people have to make a living. The sea sides are lovely and one can spend a pleasant relaxing day. It can be very hot-so the clothes have to be light. A cap won't go amiss. A pratical way of getting from one end to the other is by using the sky train. You can even book in at the express train that takes you directly to the airport in 28 mins and in comfort too. This train works both ways - to and from the airport instead of taking a taxi which takes about an hour take the KL express.
- Shopping Tip : Check out a few shops before buying. Sometimes the product is cheaper. Don't buy expensive perfume/jewelry in stalls -- rather buy them in reputed stores. Have your eyes checked - it is really cheap and really good.
