Good location to access to shopping area

Drove to there from Singapore. I think not difficult to find the place. Enough number of parking lots at basement car park. Of course free of charge for customer who stay at the hotel.
Walking distance to many shopping centers, place to have lunch or dinner. A bit noisy at night as there is one night club beside the hotel.
Overall good enough size of room, bed and facility to stay.

Generally it was a good stay. Conveniently located at the tourist attraction of Jalan Bukit Bintang, where all the happenings are there.
Food are abundant.
However certain areas can be further improved - Front office staff could be more polite and service oriented. My room safe-box was locked and I inform the front office about it upon my check-in. I need to call again in the afternoon before the duty manager came to attend to me in the late afternoon.
Other than that I am extremely happy to stay at The Royale Bintang Hotel.

Great location, rather worn

the hotel is now rather old and care-worn. carpets and walls are rather grubby, furniture marked, style basic rather than luuxurious. attentiveness of reception staff variable, though concierge cheery and helpful. for the price this hotel suited us well, close to many attractions and the lrt, but would not choose it again for a place to stay, as such, if lounging around the hotel and pool were part of the holiday. on the one occasion we decided to put our feet up by the pool, we were moved on by staff at 4:30 pm who were setting up for the evening bbq, not due to begin for another two hours. as a place to sleep and have breakfast, it was fine.

Great location, walking distance to main shopping areas, chinatown, monorail etc. Hotel room service is very good & staff extra helpful.

the service was excellent. very friendly and all smiles. the room was nice although it could have done with a bit more of cleanliness. i checked in with a different room and then had to transfer to another room because the airconditioner wasn't working properly, the sink tap wasn't working properly either and the carpet wasn't vacuumed properly. location was good despite of having to walk quite a distance to get to the Pavilion area but it was a safe location i could say. the rooms could use a doorbell instead of having to knock it hehe but it was plausible. the housekeeping was very efficient. the room service was good and the food was nice. it probably could use a bit of a renovation though within the rooms. but i definitely enjoyed my stay. wifi internet connection was awesome but a bit of a hassle that i had to ask for a new different password after 24 hours of using it.

this is one of the better hotels in kl for its price. although rooms are old, but they're relatively well-maintained.
across the street from jln alor, which has delicious food up to the wee hours of the morning. walking distance to major shopping centres like sungei wang plaza, pavilion and plaza low yat (for computers/electronics).
their bar downstairs is usually fronted by a small filipino band, and is not really crowded, so great place to go for drinks and audible conversation. otherwise, lots of other bistros and nightspots around the hotel.

Great Location but old-styled hotel

Great location: Bars, night market, shopping malls nearby
but poor hotel condition, it is old-styled & lack of maintanence.
Internet service is not reliable and it was down for whole day
