Night Market & Bars nearby
However, hotel is old-styled & internet service is poor.
The internet service have been down for whole day & need to re-login every time.

Nice hotel, return visitors
7.7
We have stayed at the Royale Bintang Hotel before and we love the fact that is so close to BB Plaza and Timesquare shopping centers. The rooms are clean and tidy and there is always plenty of choice for breakfast. Unfortunately this time we were not able to have connecting rooms for the kids, but it was due to the full capacity of the hotel. A little disappointing as we had exchanged emails with the hotel prior to our stay. We would however still stay their again if we returned.

Great Location, Comfortable but aging a bit
8.7
Reception seems to have got its act together over the last month, which is great to see.Nothing worse after a stressful journey than having to fight with reception and fortunately that seems to have been addressed. It's a good choice, though the aging and wear can be seen a bit, especially in the smoking rooms where small spots of damage tend to be accumuative. Some minor housekeeping issues in the bathroom (fixture failure) dealt with very rapidly. No problem to recommend it as it is a good deal at this price point.
Restaurant Tip:
Jalan Alor ends directly opposite the hotel, but you would hardly know it. Cross the road directly, and turn right at the 'busy' street. Alternatively, after working your way down the street, simply exit and turn left, instead of retracing your steps.

Great location, helpful staff

We were travelling in a group of nine people and had requested two lots of connecting rooms. When we arrived we were told the best they could do was four rooms on the same floor. When we complained we were quickly upgraded to four rooms on the Club level. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Just a one night stay in KL before going home.
Check in was very slow with staff who did not know how to smile. Room was very dated, with what now seems like "old fashioned" fixtures and fittings. The aircon could not cope and the room was very hot and the unit noisy. Plenty of better hotels in the area at the same price.

Great location but tired looking hotel.

Checking in and checking out was fast. All special requests was seen to. The room was cosy but the signs of aging was prominent. Toilet aminities was good. Located on the good side of bukit bintang. We had a good night sleep. Breakfast was ok. The WIFI was free and it has good speed and very reliable. Different account was assigned to each of us. Swimming pool was ok. The in-house massage was good. Room service was fast and of good quality. Airport transfer back to KLIA cost RM90. However, the staff should smile more. Overall, it was a very good stay here.
Shopping Tip:
The hotel is within proximity of shopping centres, food oulets and entertainment. everything is within walking distance from the hotel.

Good location but tired hotel
4.3
This was one of the most disappointing stays we have had in KL. the hotel is situated at the heart of the Golden Triangle but unfortunately that is the only good thing going for it. The hotel is tired and is in need of a refurb. The carpets in the rooms and corridor were stained. The worst was that the staff and the service were like the hotel, disappointing. Apart from one, even the normally reliable concierge staff were rude. One even turned his back on us without answering our query and started making a call on his mobile. There were no towels in our room on the second day and took several phone calls to have them replaced.
