Nice hotel and nice service

Overall this was a nice hotel to stay in, I would recommend it more for business people than holidays as most of the people were there on business.
We only stayed for one night but the room was a decent size with nice bathroom however the shower flooded the floor due to the way the gradient in the floor was angled. Also we arrived late and were rushing out, just wanted to have a drink from the mini-bar and there weren't any in there. Additionally when we went to leave the bellboy took a long time to bring our bags down from the room then we waited another 20mins when we went to pick them up that afternoon to go to the airport. The pool was beautiful however the gym very small and ill-equipped. Still overall it was a nice hotel
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Make sure you get to the Petronas Towers early in the morning otherwise all the tickets are sold out (this happened to us when we went later in the day and were willing to buy a ticket, there were none left)

New hotel in a good location

i checked into the hotel and asked to be put on the "quiet" side. after about two minutes of checking, they said they would put me on the club floor ( without the privileges) which i thought was nice. upon checkout, i asked for a later checkout and they said no problem. the breakfast buffet is very big, although it is quite spread out. overall i am pleased with the hotel, the service and the location of the hotel and i would recommend this for anyone that wants to be near bukit bintang and klcc.
Restaurant Tip:
There's a food court in the bottom of pavillion shopping mall along with a grocery store where you can buy your snacks and drinks.

Great Hotel but front desk service lacking

Whilst the hotel certanly looked grand, certain members of front desk let the entire place down. Unfortunately for the staff who truely put in effort to make you feel welcome and comfortable they are let down by others.

I liked the hotel but had one major problem

I enjoyed my stay except I found a bed bug which was most disconserting, I was immediately given another room and the staff helped me move.
I had a good massage at the spa and meal at the side of the swimming pool, great food but service slow.
The hotel is located within walking distance of a major shopping complex, take an umbrella.

We stayed at the Royale Chulan for 3 nights & it was very difficult to fault!
Our deluxe room was huge as was the bed. It was very clean & all the staff were very friendly & helpful.
The breakfast buffet was excellent with cuisine from most corners of the world brilliantly executed.
The gym, which we used during our stay was well maintained & adequately equipped with a couple of multigym systems, running machines, exercise bikes & free weights. The pool looked inviting although we didn't swim & the only disappointing thing was there was no sauna but thats only a very minor gripe in an otherwise great hotel thats only 5mins walk from the Pavilion shopping centres shops & cafes (& about 15mins to Petronas Towers).
All in all a very nice place.

We selected the Royale Chulan Hotel for our three night stay in Kuala Lumpur, based on other Agoda customers' recommendations and on the location. It turned out to be an excellent choice.
The location is perfect, if your main purpose is shopping, which ours was – you are within a short walking distance of major department stores like Pavillion and Lot 10 (which also has a huge Chinese food court in the basement). The Twin Towers are a short (5-10 minutes depending on traffic) taxi ride away and our friendly and efficient hotel concierge, Mr. Lokas, helped us buy tickets through a local travel agency. He also arranged for a RM 78:- Airport Limo for the 45 minute transfer to KLA on our departure.
The nonsmoking room on the third floor was huge with a compelling night view of the illuminated Petronas Twin Towers. The bed, the bathroom, conveniences and Internet access were all up to our high expectations and the management generously extended our check out time to 15.00 hours free of charge, to tie in with our flight schedule.
Special mention has to be made of the breakfast, which must count as one of the most sumptuous and varied hotel breakfasts we've ever encountered anywhere.
Whether your taste gravitates toward Western, Chinese, Malay, Indian or Japanese cuisine, it was there in quantity and quality. Jessica, Dove, Najaat and the other cheerful staff had a marvellous memory for your special tastes and would bring coffee, espresso or cappuccino accordingly. Breakfast at Royale Chulan was a thoroughly pleasurable experience, definitely not to be missed.
All in all, we were thoroughly pleased with our stay and will certainly come back.
Shopping Tip:
Don't forget to ask about the shortcut to the shopping malls. It is just 5 minutes walk to the Pavilion.

Enjoyed our short stay. Breakfast was enjoyable with good variety of food for all tastes.
The only negative is the bed. It is far too hard for us as we are used to memory foam mattress.
Restaurant Tip:
Walk to the Pavillion and the food court is great. Lots of shops.
