Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Pleasant stay in opulence
8
Good location in walking distance to main shopping area and Petronas Towers.
Large bed, comfortable lounge room and adequate kitchen with facilities all one needs when away. Had a good sized balcony which is always a bonus and used pool which was a welcome treat after walking streets of KL. Huge breakfast buffet but dont come after 10.30 as they have to start prepating for lunch and you may be a bit rushed. Didn't eat in restaurants other than the street food cafe outside hotel where staff very obliging. Bar of eveing have entertainment- When we were there 2 groups, one all females "The Honeybee's" which were terrific.
Prices in hotel as one would expect, not cheap but it is a hotel in middle of KL. Free Wi-Fi at hotel but charges for computer use and printing if yiu want to print boarding passes etc. Decor very opulent.
All in all a pleasant stay

Nice hotel and great service

I wish they had more variety for vegetarian food. The food section for vegetarians are limited. More healthy options for those health conscious should be made available.

we were impressed by how we were entertained by the receptionist the minute we checked in. we were supposed to stay in a deluxe room but got upgraded to a higher room type. the room where we stayed was big and clean which made our stay very comfortable/relaxing indeed. will definitely recommend this to other colleagues planning to visit kl.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
pavilion mall is just a 5-minute walk from this hotel. klcc and twin towers can also be reached by foot. the hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to/from suria klcc.

Huge room upgrade, luxury beyond belief
Convenient location, amazing staff and beautiful rooms
9.7
A minor issue upon arrival resulted in an upgrade to an embarrassingly large room, one of the largest and most comfortable beds I have even slept in. Wifi was quite fast and the restaurants were great. Staff were available to help with everything at a moment's notice.

i was happy staying there but there was one problem i informed them twice and never got fixed. something was wrong with the shower stall door and the water was all over the floor. i informed them twice but nothing got better. i had to put the shower towels on the floor because it was so dangerous to have the water everywhere. the housekeeping came to clean the room everyday and i had the shower towels soaking wet on the floor everyday but they did not provide any extra floor towels.

Great hotel with large rooms and first rate breakfast. The location is excellent; walking distance to the Twin Towers and to downtown activities. Staff was very helpful arranging tours and just helping out with things to do in KL. Breakfast was wonderful with foods from all around the world. Would stay again and will recommend to all my friends to stay in this hotel. Definitely worth the money.

Really a great hotel in best price. Really neat and clean. Service was great. The hotel is close to the KL city but far from airport. Airport is approx. 1 hour from the hotel. We really had a great time staying in this hotel, I would recommend this hotel.

Had a lovely 4 days here. It is very central to shopping district and eating places. The decor is very sumptious and hotel well maintained with plenty of staff. I have no complaints whatsoever and would stay there again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Do not bother with the Chinese market. The goods are shoddy and you will not get anything unique there. It is also very cramped and stuffy and I did not feel at ease there. Go to the Central Market which has Malayan crafts and fabrics etc. Haggling is fun and expected.

I was looking for a hotel in KL and stumbled upon Royale Chulan. After reading the great reviews, I decided to give it a try. Stayed for 3 nights in November, and did not regret the choice.
Location was convenient. Hotel ambience was good. Staff was great. Breakfast spread was aplenty. Pool was welcoming. Room was fantastic. Bathroom was the best.
The only upset incident that I had was with the spa centre. The staff told me in person that there's available slot. I came at the prescribed time, only to be told that the spa was closed for filming - by the same staff! Very bad ....
Other than that, everything is fine.
