We had a great day at the zin. We stayed for 2 weeks. Great choice every morning at buffet breakfast. Big self catering rooms, great for families. Staff were wonderful. Perfect location, close to shopping malls and public transport. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms were quite spacious. Overall the decor was a bit old and the overall cleanliness could have been better.
Breakfast was quite ordinary... not many options.
Free Parking is a boon, but I misplaced the parking slip and would have had to pay a penalty of MYR 50!! Luckily I found the coupon in the nick of time and saved the money :-)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If driving, best to leave the car in the hotel and walk around... so you dont have to waste time hunting for parking... and paying for it in KLCC...

Great location but horrible service & quality

Location wise, its perfect for those who want easy access to city center like Petronas Twin Towers, KLCC, Pavilion and others.
The room was horrible, as the air cond was not cold, carpets were old and already detaching from the floor. Not to mention the TV controller as well as the kettle wasn't working.
Calls to Housekeeping to solve these problems were taking up to like 45min - 1hour, until I have to go to lobby to demand an immediate service.
Elevator was a nightmare. During peak hours, you'll have to wait around 15-30min for the elevator. However, staffs were friendly and always smiling.

During my stay in The Zon, i have found this hotel is fantastic and affordable in view of location and convenience. Next visit to KL have to stay in this hotel again

Disappointing, old furnishings

I was checked in on the superior suite. The room was heavily "fragranted" with air fresheners to cover up the musty scent. Though the rooms was big, furnishings were rather worn out. The rooms were not ready with bath towels, hand towels and floor mats which I had to call housekeeping for. What was a real turn off was that at the end of my stay, I was passed a bill of MYR 18.9 for 3 local telephone calls of a total of 3 mins. I had never stayed in a hotel that would require me to pay for local phone calls.

very big space and location

first we arrive at 5am actually we already make a request for early check in but the reception said that we must wait untill 2pm than can check in and we was very dissapointed of the reception treat us... but after we waiting untill 10am the manager arrive n upgrade us to a 2 bedroom n we was very happy that the manager help us and no additional charge...
the breakfast was good but last time i went 2 this hotel was much more variety than this...
