Well appointed rooms.
Good location, walking distances to KLCC
Staff must learn how to smile.
Car park lift is very unimpressive.
At the lift, my heart sank, think what type of hotel I picked! Keeping my fingers cross on how bad taste the rooms would be.
Was upgraded to Executive Room.
Very impress with the room decor.
Provided with everything that you would need,
except for toothbrush. Never mind, cos u can buy one downstair at reasonable price.
The bathroom is just perfect.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You take as much photos of KLCC Twin Towers as you wish. Just snap it from your window.

-Great Space in the 2 rooms Deluxe apartment\
-Internet connectivity available free
-Big room space for each room
-Feels like your own cosy condominium
-Good location of hotel very near to KLCC and 24 hours Prata shop
-Good service of hotel staffs
-Good ample parking lots available in the basement with guards watching
-Good reasonable affordable rates
Decors and furniture maybe alittle old, could improve more on the cosier decorations and furnitures and lightings.
Lifts with no sensors door
The Zon stay hotel is overall a good budget and comfortable stay to choose for a trip to KL.
Location is near to KLCC and shuttle services available to other shopping towns. Great space for family stay or group of friends to bunk in together. The Zon can probably in future upgrade furnitures and add in more decorations to make the place even cosier. I would rate this hotel 7/10.

The hotel is very family friendly. Great view, great dining room area, big space, very comfortable, etc. We even requested for a cot which was attended to shortly. They even have a great pool and a very nice children's room with free nanny services. Love this hotel.
Jacuzzi was bad. It was in the toilet like an old bath tub. Dont feel like using it.
The toys in the children's room could be replaced. Alot of toys were broken and falling apart.
Breakfast spread could be further improved.
The hotel entrance could be further enhanced. It was rather difficult spotting the hotel signage.
We had booked 2 x 2 deluxe bedroom suite with The Zon residences. We reached the hotel on a Sat afternoon. Check in was smooth. The staff were very accomodating in adhereing to our requests. E.g ensuring same floor rooms. We were given rooms on the 5th floor. Went up and find the view rather poor, hence requested for a change of rooms. This was done pretty efficiently. Except that we had to wait till 2.00pm for this to be done.
Sure, so we went shopping. Came back at around 6.00pm, was given 2 rooms on 21st floor. Great view. Requested baby cot was also arranged in one of the rooms. 1 of the room had its aircon leaking in the dining room area. This was being repaired rather quickly by the staff. Our luggage stored at the business centre was a little slow in reaching us. Still it got to us without much efforts.
The rooms were big and clean. Very comfortable and great for families. I brought my 6 months old baby along for the trip and she enjoyed herslf very much too. The moment we placed her into the cot, she started laughing and kicking away, very pleased with her new bed.
Breakfast was ok. Some food was not very tasty but good enough for this price. The pool was great. There were 3 pools to choose from. In addition, there were even lockers for the guests to use, shower facilities and towels provided.
Even though my baby was young, we brought her to the children's room for some photos as she helepd herself to the toys in there. Big room with basketful of toys, kitchenette, lego, pillows and tvs. I would have enjoyed myself if I were a kid too.
Overall, Zon is a great child friendly, family friendly hotel. Truely enjoyable stay. Would love to visit this hotel again. A pity we stayed only 1 night there. Would love to stay there for at least 2 nights during my next trip. Highly recommended.

ZON has different room sizes ( eg 1 or 2 bedroom )which suits my needs. My family of 7 stayed in a 2 bedroom superior suite which is relatively cheaper than staying in hotel where I have to book 2 rooms.
The hotel does not provide bus to Bukit Bintang area.
We stayed in ZON from 31/10/09 to 03/11/09. It is 10 minutes walk from KLCC LRT and shopping centre. We stayed in a 2 bedroom superior and it is very spacious. The hotel staffs are helpful.

the furnitures are very old and the room has a funny smell .
The staff is quite polite and the breakfast is not too bad . The lights in the coffeehouse is quite dim thou . The walkway to the hotel can be rather dark in the evening and not too safe . The aircon in the room is quite loud and the tv is very old . The kitchen is rather big but you cannot cook in there , only a micorwave is provided . The lifts in the hotel is small and slow . OVerall the hotel needs a major uplift

Good Location & reasonable value.
Very difficult to find as it is not on Jalan Ampang as its Address suggests!Food was terrible. Room was noisy & old.
A small high rise Hotel within walking distance of KLCC. It is very difficult to find as it is actually behind another building. It room was clean but old, with terrible TV/Cable reception & virtually no Bathroom supplies except for a solitary Bar of soap!
Breakfast was terrible, walk to KLCC for better food! Staff was good & the Lifts slow!
Not recommended
Restaurant Tip : Go to KLCC which is a 5 Minute walk to eat!

4 star rating??!! Cleanliness, Service,
Unfortunately the rating is 2 star at best. Very local clientele. The furnishings are quite old. The bed would be too short for anyone over six feet. The televisions are so old that the TV in our bedroom was unwatchable. Looked like a snow blizzard. One air conditioner leaked and we had to share remotes to adjust them. The same with TV remotes. There still hairs from the previous tenants on our bathroom floor. Rusty bathtub.
House keeping tried to clean our room at 6pm when we were trying to get ready for the evening so I declined. Please get more staff so the rooms can get cleaned in the afternoon. The cleaners looked frazzeled.
When we asked for a taxi to be hailed at the front desk, they suggested we walk to the main road to catch one. It took us 1/2 an hour to catch one! Thanks for the effort.
The breakfast I believe was sub standard. Definitely 2 star and the buffet burners weren't even on. Cold breakfast anyone?
have travelled extensively in South East asia and live in SG. Not a good reflection on malaysia...thought the hotel was a fair price when we booked but we were definitely ripped off!

large room. clean and large room. we had a two bedroom suit. the information was saying that it is around 50sqm, but the suit was almost 100 sqm. very friendly staffs.
very busy hotel. too many guests and just two slow lifts.
This is a great value for money. It is a clean accommodation with friendly staff. Room was larger than advertised. A large lounge with two double bedrooms. It is located very close in walking distance to KLCC. There are some good food places around as well. The food place in the corner is so tricky. One plate of food can easily cost around 15 dollars. I asked the restaurant owner to write me a bill before I start to eat, but he said that they don’t do that until customer finish having the meal. It was as I expected a lot more expensive than expected. In general hotel was good.

Centrally situated near the park and towers.
The appartment was spaceous but a had seen better days. The kitchen was sparse, but all was clean enough. The resturant was not very useful and we were foolish enough to ask for wine which was no thre menu .
Restaurant Tip : Pleanty of resturants around the towers.

the Zon is a cost-efficient hotel near KLCC area. it's only 10 min walk from KLCC train station. I stay at 18th floor and can have a good view of Petronas twin tower
the hotel doesn't provide toothbrush or toothpaste, no slipper either.

good location, good breakfast
better to provide a local map in the room
the hotel is apparently a good choice for those who travel to the city of kuala lumpur, it is ideally located near the building of twin tower. the staff are well trained although the check-in process is a little bit slow as there is only one staff addressing this matter. The food is good and the choice varies from the western to the eastern. The room is clean and tidy. Overall, a good option to stay for a couple of days.
Nightlife Tip : the twin tower area is a good place to go in the night.

Clean, spacious, friendly staff.
A Little old. Buffett breakfat not that appealing.
Great hotel. Had a 2 bedroom apartment. Very clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and it was close to everything. Great view of the twin towers and a very short 5 min walk to the klcc shopping centre. Breakfat buffett didn't really cater enough for the westerner. Meals were often cold as lids were left off bainmaries by other guests. In all would recommend it to everyone.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Underwater world and Sunway Lagoon.

Location is very near KLCC/Petronas tower. 5 minute walk from nearest LRT station.
The hotel is far from tha main street, quite a long walk to get taxi and so dark at night (but kind of safe as security 24 hrs at gateway). Lobby is noisy at night. Lift Lobby and Lift car is very very small, slow mixed-passenger/freight lift
Hotel is worth value as for the location. View of Petronas in some rooms is very fantastic. 2-room w/ shared living is very HUGE, each bedroom has private bath, spacious kitchen and dining space separetd from living room.....just like staying in apartment. Good for Family or friends to hang out. Free internet on the line. Old Telephone. There is 7Eleven open 24 hrs half way to KLCC (walk out turn left).
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : KLCC is just 10 minute walk to the West or just 2 bus stops.
7Eleven and nice open-air local restaurant en route half way to KLCC.
Market Place: best gay dance club is 10 minutes walk to the North. Very happening on Fri/Sat. night.
LRT station is 5 minutes walk to the East.

Location, location, location. This hotel is located just at the outskirts of the KLCC park. Our room on the 22nd floor ensured that we had an excellent view of the Petronas Towers. The swimming pool was nice and the laundry facilities was extremely useful. For the price and location you would be hard pressed to find a better place and we got an excellent deal through Agoda.com
There are many, but most were overcome by the benefits. The furniture is out-dated and seriously needs updating. The lifts are too slow and the breakfast menu needs updating.
We were apprehensive when booking for the Zon, but were pleasantly surprised when we did arrive. The lobby while small was nice. The restaurant and breakfast spot on the mezzanine was also nice. The rooms while being large did have a slight musty smell and an A.C in one of the rooms wasnt working to full capacity. The bathrooms were okay and though one did have a damp spot on the roof, overall it was acceptable. We didn't see any creepy crawlies during our five nights. T.V channels were a bit iffy but we weren't there to watch T.V. Free internet was a plus and the kitchen was also adequate. While the building is bit hidden away its location right next to the park was excellent and was only 10 minutes away from KLCC Suria. As for the prayer announcements , a big mosque is right next door and being Muslims our selves didn't mind the prayer calls all that much. However, i didn't think the volume was that high and remember Malaysia is a predominantly Muslim country. All in all if we ever had to stay in Kl on a budget and needed a furnished apartment, the Zon would feature on our list again.
