Location, the rooms are great, friendly professional staff, Sky Bar, Traders Lounge, overall a very nice hotel Not so good if you want to hang by the pool and get some sun Traders is a really nice hotel, its 4 star but really should be 5 considering the service and quality of the rooms and the hotel in all. The location is good with walking distance to the Petronas towers and Suria KLCC. Just as close to Pavilion which i would say is better shopping, and better food outlets at the bottom level. The Sky Bar is a really nice place for a drink at night, with spectacular views and nice drinks (a little pricey in comparison, but not by western standards). The Traders lounge is a great place to have breakfast and evening cocktails, also with great views of the city and the Petronas Towers. The rooms are modern with big windows, a nice bathroom and all the amenities you need. Overall we had a great stay and would definetely come back again
Restaurant Tip : Bijan is a great restaurant with nice ambience and high class local food at great prices. laso try Dragon-I at the bottom level of Pavilion for great freshly made noodles and Dim Sum.
Skip the Hop-on Hop-off bus tour, the buses are dated with bad commentary. If you get of due to traffic, the next bus can be anything between 10 and 40 minutes. Use public transport and walk instead!

The hotel designed in a tready style. You enjoyed a nice view of KL. I booked Traders Hotel via Agoda. The location is excellent. It is very easy in mobilisation. When I checked-in, my room was luckily upgraded, facing to the Twin Tower. I like the trendy design and room facilities. The skybar at the top is worthwhile to visit. Though the room excluded breakfast, I took breakfast buffet there after I had morning jogging in front of the hotel.
I personally like the variety of breakfast dishes. My desk was immediately clean up while I left my table graped more food. I then get a newly set up table and new bottle of coffee. :-))

great view of petronas tower and klcc park. good location. comfortable rooms. stunning sky bar on top of hotel "hot pool" not hot enough. main pool cold! modern, clean rooms with great view of petronas towers and klcc park. easy walk to klcc mall, bukit bintang area. trendy pool with jacuzzi/warm pool. skybar on top of hotel incredible. use during the day if you have kids. at night its a club atmosphere w/ expensive drinks, but great views. reserve sunken tables early. pleasant stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : take back way to walk to bukit bintang/pavillion area vs. thru klcc mall.( faster). take a walk through the lovely klcc park. must go to skybar at top of hotel.

Great location, staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Traders Club was good value, cocktails were great. Pool not actually in full sun, but still great The Traders Hotel is centrally located in KL, opposite the Petronas Towers. Buffet breakfast was substantial and great variety. We paid a bit more and became members of the Traders Club, it was good value. It entitled us to a better room, afternoon tea and 2hr cocktails daily. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The room itself was very generous size and refreshed daily. The quality of the hotels furnishing in all areas was very good, everything was clean and well presented. Really couldn't find fault and would stay here again.
Shopping Tip : Don't miss the Mid Valley mega mall shopping centre.

Location, customer service, breakfasts, room quality Couldn't have picked a better hotel for service, location, room quality and the overall attention to detail. The Traders Club upgrade is well worth the extra as the high teas are fantastic value. The staff are just magnificent and the night views of The petronas Towers is awesome. The breakfasts are absolutely amazing.Would most definitely go back to the Traders.
Nightlife Tip : Always ask for the drinks menu before taking on a local bar. I'm sure there are ferenghi (westerners) prices and local prices otherwise the bill may hurt.

Everything about this hotel was brilliant.
Location was easy walking distance to shops, restaurants.
Customer Service at the hotel was A1.
Rooms was excellent.
The club package was amazing value.
Fantastic pool. No sun around the pool. Although the pool is gorgeous, but the location of it which is in the middle of the building, didn't allow long periods of sun for those who would like to sunbake. This hotel offered us everything we could ask for. We had the club package which provided us access to the 32nd floor where you could view the city from the club lounge. We also had provided all day refreshments (softdrinks), afternoon tea as well as drinks/cocktails and finger food for 2 hours. The staff were absolutely brilliant and couldn't do enough for us with information about sightseeing/shopping and things to do. The rooms were so clean and the bathroom was of the latest quality bathroom fittings. I think this hotel should be rated 6 stars. can't wait to visit KL and stay at this hotel again.
Shopping Tip : Although there's plenty of shopping around walking distance of this hotel, if you catch a cab for around the cost of $2, bargain shopping is amazing at BB Plaza. well worth the visit.

We had a lovely stay here in october. Just one night but I would defnintely go back. The staff were so attentive, helpful, efficient, friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent and great drinks at the sky bar. I would recomment to anyone
Restaurant Tip : the hotel breakfast is great but make sure you go for a local breakfast at some point - thosai with egg and onion and curry dips- cheap and delicious

The only downside were the other guests who seemed to think we were not good enough to stay there. But was quite funny actually. View was staring straight at the petronas towers, room was beautiful, staff excellent, breakfast amazing, great place to stay!

pool area is small for lounging This is the second time we have stayed at the Traders. The first time we stayed in the Traders Club level, excellent value. This time we didn't knowing we wouldn't be at the hotel for much of the time. However, we had a great room, terrific view of the towers, clean, and comfortable bed. The staff is always very warm and inviting, making you feel right at home. We were there during the week when more of the hotel guest are business travelers, but we were there for leisure and never made to feel out of place. The tunnel through the convention center to the mall came in handy when the rains came hard one afternoon.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Towers and Surni Mall is next door.

View of the KLCC park and Petronas Towers, can't beat that. This is one of the most popular hotel in Kuala Lumpur, due to its location and clear unobstructed view of the Petronas Towers. The hotel has very nice modern decor, with complimentary internet connection, big plasma TV, luxurious bathroom equipped with tub/shower. Check out the sky bar and the pool. Breathtaking. Nice friendly staff. Complimentary shuttle service to the KLCC Mall.

The best location, breakfast, club lounge Book a room with park view and you will not be disappointed. We booked the park view with club access so it should be on the 27-31 floor, but even though hotel knew about our very late arrival 2-3am, we did not get it due to full accupancy on these floors (so why did I wasted my phonecall on early afternoon if the hotel will do what it wants anyway).... but.... without any discussion and arguments and with smooth check in we were ofered a one bedroom suite on the 13th floor with all the amenities and privileges as club room, and still impressive view. Club lounge on the 32nd floor is definitely worth visiting if you have it inclusive, offering afternoon tea and evening snack with a view of Petronas Towers. If that is not enough you can visit a bar located above, just the nice located seats seem to be booked in advance. Buffet breakfast was excellent, lots to choose from.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : 15-20 min walk to KL Tower, Taxi from KL Sentral to the hotel 25-35 Ringits, from hotel to the airport 130 Ringits unless you will try to arrange the local taxi which might be cheaper. Train from Sentral to the airport 35 Ringits/pax

High quality hotel right opposite Petronas Towers In the centre of business district-not much around it entertainment wise Excellent quality hotel in the centre of the business district. Well located for the Petronas Towers and shopping Mall but not a lot else. We upgraded to a Club room which gave access to the Club lounge and between 5 & 7 had complimentary drinks and snacks-excellent value

Food. I definitely recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. The hotel has a great location, just a 5 min walk to KLCC and the Petronas. If you are lazzy to walk, they provide a free shuttle. The staff are very good and always willing to help. The hotel has all the facilities top quality and the room is great. The breakfast is amazing. There are several types of food, so there is no risk of eating the same thing 2 days in a row.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go to the KL Tower. the view from there is better than the Petronas.

Had a very comfortable stay at the Traders Hotel. Stayed at the club floor, which has access to the traders club. Traders Club was very nice and most of the day had free snacks and drinks. The Hotel in conveniently located, i.e. close to shopping areas and public transport. There is a free complementary “stretch golf cart” that runs between the hotel and KLCC shopping mall.
