Nice. Well located. Wonderful views to the petronas twins. Kind personal. Great breakfast.
The room a little bit small for this kind of hotel.
We recomend this hotel. It was really clean well located. Very balance price and quality.

Very nice location, near Petronas tower, room has breathtaking view of Petronas, Excellent service, Trader's club room has a lot of food, excellent room, very clean,
Traders hotel is one,if not our favorite hotel. Excellent room, location, view and service. The money we paid for is worth it! It's our 2nd stay in this hotel. We enjoyed our first stay, loved it more on our 2nd stay! Hotel was even more special now that we got engaged on this place ;) We will definitely return!
Hotel Feature Tip : Book the traders club as the food is worth the extra payment! You will have food from 6-10 (breakfast), 2-5 (afternoon tea), 530-730 (cocktails). If you want breathtaking view of Petronas (unobstructed), be sure to select garden view rooms. For best stay, select Trader's club garden view room. Enjoy!

Location, location, location and that view! Exceptional service.
What a find! The reviews are right - this hotel is one of the best. The hotel is directly opposite the Petronas Towers and the Park View rooms guarrantee a great view from your room. We had a suite on the Trader's Club floor and it was amazing - no need to squeeze yourself into the top floor bar....you have that view from every window. The service was also incredible. A great welcome and genuinely interested staff....a rarity in some hotels these days. Breakfast was great and abundant too. Walking distance from the malls of KL and some great restaurants, and also next to the running track at KLCC if you want to run off that great food. Nothing bad to say about it.
Restaurant Tip : Top Hat restaurant in a lovely colonial house is only 10 minutes walk away. It has a great menu of Malay and Western favourites, lovely staff and very good value for money.

location, location, location
Great facilities, gym, rooftop pool, jacuzzi bar, nice rooms
price?
Expensive breakfast?
just my opinions, though
The location is fantastic, 7 minute walk from the Petronas towers through a beautiful park, they even have a shuttle!! hotel is gorgeus, nice service and facilities! rooms with views of the tower are very impressive indeed!
B'fast is expensive but as I said, so close to the shopping malls in the Petronas towers that you can have b'fast there no problem!

Friendly and accomodating staff
Great value Trader's Club upgrade
Excellent in-room facilities
Extras like laundry and airport taxi were more expensive than expected.
No outdoor sunbathing area
We had a brilliant three night stay in Traders. The room was fantastic, the staff were always very friendly, helpful and professional. We upgraded to the Trader's Club package and made good use of the excellent breakfast, tea and cocktail sessions. They have an amazing skybar, pool and leisure facility and have excellent internet and business services.
Restaurant Tip : The Gin Ger restaurant in Sentral Market, just across from the LRT line

location for klcc/park
relatively new so staff try extra hard
lovely breakfast in club lounge
rooms a little bland
not great location for chinatown
taxis outside hotel expensive
really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is about 4-5 years old which is relatively new by hotel standards so they try extra hard to please their guests. We had a club room which meant inclusive breakfast in club lounge. Good selection of typical malay food (curry/egg fried rice for breakfast!) as well as cakes fruit and the usual. The waiting staff wear black suits and ear pieces and there's quite a lot of them around - still takes quite a long time to get a coffee! The gym was ok, and there's a free shuttle bus to the klcc every few minutes, but the centre of town is about a 15 minute walk and the taxis outside the hotel overcharge for KL. I guess what you'd expect for a 5 star hotel. Room had a lovely view of the park and towers, was very spacious and lovely bathroom.I actually preferred staying here than at the Mandarin Orient - which is lot more 'bling' but I didn't find it as user friendly.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : don't pass up a chance to see a concert at the dewan filharmonic petronas in the klcc if you can

Great view of Petronas towers from poolside bar.
Easy access to city from monorail.
Excellent buffet and a-la-carte restaraunts.
Great service and helpful staff.
Rooms are spacious and up to date fit-out
Traders is part of the Shan-gri La group and accordingly offers a very high standard of service.
The Staff are very helpful, we had a problem with flights and the staff at the desk were instrumental in solving our potential disaster.
The rooms are beautifully appointed to a high standard and the bathrooms are great.

Location very near to Twin Towers. A very big and nice park. Very big playground - good for little children.
The buggy schedule not very good - should improve. The club lounge afternoon tea items should have more variety - include chicken naggets and fruits.
The hotel is nice. The room is clean. We stay at the club room -nice and comfortable. The club lounge staff are very friendly. They make my little girl very happy. She happy mean we are happy too. The sky bar is nice. The view is very nice especially at night. The location of the hotel is convient to go anywhere. We try the breakfast at the gobo chit chat staff not friendly as i ask for fresh red apple juice they say no only green apple available. But i saw red apples! As we stay at club room we were entitle to fruit everyday but the first day i got two rotten apples after making two complain then i get my better fruits...2nd day my fruits were not send to me till i requested at night...3rd day i gave up but suprisingly the fruits were send to me in the morning. But overall we will stay there next time still will choose the club room.

- good location
- fantastic views
- great service
- spacious rooms
- pool area is at night a sky bar this concept does not work very well neither for the pool nor for the bar
We stayed for two nights at this hotel and enjoyed it from the moment we stepped into the hotel. We stayed on the club floor and enjoyed the Traders Lounge especially during coctail hours at sunset. Breakfast was sumptous and all staff were really friendly and helpful. We had booked a deluxe room but upon check in we were offered an upgrade to a suite for a minimal amount. A great place to stay while in KL even if it is only for a few nights.

The location of hotel is perfect. The view from the skybar at night of the Petronas Twin Towers is amazing, make a reservation if you want a table by the windows. The pool area closes at 7 p.m. and turns into a nightclub. The pool area is not setup well for swimming or lounging by the pool, it feels like you are sitting in a club the morning after. Rooms are clean and the prices reasonable for drinks and food. It's the place to stay if you have a few days to explore the city.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Catch the free shuttle to the twin towers and take the tram around town. Affordable, clean and easy to navigate, the train is a much better option than a taxi.

The general layout of the hotel. The best feature is the Sky Bar! It's really something else!! I would recommend anyone to visit...
The costly meals if your room rates does not include meal plans!
It was my first stay at this hotel. I also have the chance to allow a visitor from the UK on the visit and this was beneficial for the hotel as he was impessed and voted to return on his future trip to KL. We love having our evening drinks at the Sky Bar and simply watching the Twin-Towers. Breath taking moments! I would suggest visitors to take the Club Floor as that the best choice!
Shopping Tip : Very close by the KL shopping centre in the Twin Towers. Good location!

The location is excellent. The view from our 21st-floor park view room was ravishing. The interior is thoughfully designed and funtional.
You can get to the KLCC very quickly (e.g. by using the hotels free shuttle service) which has a subway station to reach the colonial core. Also there is an aquarium and a food court situated in the congress center nearby.
The Skybar of the Hotel offers an excellent view to the whole city including the Petronas Towers, which is particularely worth seeing at night when the whole KLCC complex is lit.
If you consider queueing for the free tickets to visite the bridge between the two towers consider going there early (7.30 a.m.) to get up there without the sun blinding to much. We were there by that time an got tickets for 9.30 am which was a good time for a nice view.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The aquarium in the congress center is woth spending a hour.

Immaculately clean, helpful staff Awesome views from rooms of Petronis towers.
Was Ramadan so Mosque had morning prayers and night prayers going out over load speaker, rooms could be better sound proofed .A bit of distance form Golden circle hub.
Traders hotel Kl was a fantastic hotel to stay in the place was everything you expect from a 5star hotel .I think it is one of the newer hotels in KL as everything appeared in good shape and clean. The location is opposite the petronis towers and my room had a fantastic view of them. The staff couldnt be more polite and helpfull, check in and out was a breeze unlike some hotels in KL,my room was ready on time. The restaurants buffet breakfast was ok not the best as it seemed more oriental than western i would say 60-70 percent oriental style and rest western unlike some hotels in KL which seem to be 50-50.
The only real negative for the traders is the distance from the Golden Circle Hub its a 10min walk say but just get a cheap 15ringet taxi to places like Low Yat plaza for shopping.Overall i would recommend traders to anyone as a great place to stay, clean, welcoming and efficient.
Shopping Tip : Low Yat Plaza electronic mecca .

Club room suite was as good as expected. Club lounge was great, with complimentary high tea and cocktails.
The club rooms are definitely worth the extra cost, with a private lounge serving complimentary drinks along with high tea and cocktails. The views are spectacular especially by night from the sky bar/pool
