Good room, good view, good beef steak restaurant
This Hotel deliver a very value for money service. Free shuttle bus from KLCC and Hotel at peak hour and even you take walk it is very close too. The CUT restaurant is excellent for the food quality provided and wine list as well.

Great Staff
This is a fantastic hotel, the staff were at all times friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and tidy and large with a great veiw overlooking the Petronas Towers and Park. 5 minute walk through the underground tunnel to KLCC Suria shopping centre (great food court)and rail station. 10 mnute walk to Bukit Bintang shopping and food region. Need to book a table for the skybar on the 33rd floor which turns into a nightclub on the weekends.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : KL Tower has a buffet lunch in the revolving restaurant for quite a good price with a great view.

good service, very clean and tidy.
Regular customers should at least upgrade the room or service. The lounge breakfast is not as good as level 5. Should improve the breakfast.
It's a good location to KLCC and the good thing is they have buggy service. However, between 2:30 to 5:00pm no buggy service. They should have at least two buggys running at the same time if there are many people waiting. The service should be non stop till at least 11pm, if they have more buggy.

Outstanding views of Petronas Towers
We stayed here for New Years Eve and so had an amazing view of the fireworks which are let off from the park between the hotel and the Petronas Towers. The room was beatiful and had a lovely bath. Breakfast was fantatsic with everything you could possibly want. I would absolutely stay here again!
Hotel Feature Tip : Ask for a view of the Towers because some rooms face the other direction.

-Big bed
-Big rooms
-Great view
-There's a shuttle to Suria KLCC (a mall)
-Skybar/pool is nice
-Mysterious doorbell ringing
-Wireless wasn't working (but wired Internet was)
-Business centre not open late
We stayed here for a few days over New Years 2009/10 and it was great.
Like everyone says, the view of the Petronas Towers from the park rooms is incredible and watching the fireworks from the hotel room was awesome.
In terms of location, it's pretty well situated - a 5-minute walk to the KLCC Suria mall (there's an LRT station there too), which is in a stretch of upmarket malls. They run a shuttle from the hotel to the mall so if you're not up for a stroll (it's very hot and humid btw) it's worth waiting around for. People do tend to wave at you when you're on it though - act like you know and wave back!
The Skybar is worth checking out although the drinks, compared to other places in KL, are a bit expensive. The music (house) wasn't exactly to my taste but it's secondary to the view, and the few times we went there there wasn't anyone dancing at any rate.
Don't fret about the dress code listed in the hotel guide, we went there twice and there were heaps of dudes in shorts and flip-flops.
We didn't get breakfast included but shelled out for it on the last day we were there. It's good - a big selection of Asian and Western dishes (but you're in Malaysia - nasi lemak and roti for breakfast is what's good!)
The only issue we had was that the doorbell for our room went off a couple times for no reason - once at about 8:30am on New year's day which was pretty unfortunate as I was mad hungover from drinking bad cocktails in Changkat Bukit Bintang.
Overall though, we can highly recommend Traders.
Travel tip : The business center closes kinda early on Saturdays, so if you gotta research places to eat/drink/shop, do it early.

Quick check in, rooms were clean and very comfortable, hotel is about a 10 min. walk to petronas towers (also a shuttle available), there is a walkway which connects the hotel to a huge mall.
Not much variety in the restaurants at the hotel. However, the mall is a 10 min. walk and there are numerous restaurants and fast-food places to eat at.
We stayed at the Trader's hotel for only one night as a layover. Overall it was a great experience! The staff were friendly and the rooms were clean/comfortable. Restaurants at the hotel weren't what we were looking for so we ordered room service which ended up being pretty good. Great location as you are only a 10 min. walk to petronas towers and the mall. The mall has many restaurants and also connects to the subway station which takes you straight to the airport.

Great view from park view room, evening cocktail in club lounge is delicious. Shuttle bus to KLCC.
Dusty in room, no evening turn-down service. Shuttle bus to KLCC was always occupied by non hotel customers.
Booked club park view room, we can see firework during new year eve from the room directly. Wonderful! The evening cocktail in the club lounge provides hot dishes, snacks and unlimited supply of red wine / white wine / beer. Services are good as well. One drawback is very dusty in the room and my nose felt very uncomfortable during stay.
Shopping Tip : 5-8 mins work to the Pavilion (a new big shopping mall).

A fantastic and modern design, probably one of the 'hippest' hotels in the world.
The Club floor was very well run and the options for breakfast were the best I have ever experienced.
I choose a Suite and the space was generous and made the time away from home 'pleasurable' for a change.
My room looked out the wrong side of the Hotel. Make sure you 'insist' on a 'Twin Towers' view when you stay there.
See above for my thought on the KL Traders. I have stayed many times in the Mandarin Oriental on the other side of the Park and consider it to be the 'benchmark' in Club Floor experiences. However, the KL Traders has really lifted the bar and for a supposedly '2nd tier' brand I think they are doing themselves a great mis-service. Having lived in a suite on a Club Floor of the Shangri-la KL I can confirm that the Traders KL is up with the 'top' places to spend time in!
Hotel Feature Tip : The Pool on level 33 is awesome!

Great location, very near Petronas Towers. Rooms very nice. Staff very friendly
This hotel very pleasing for the cost. Short rides to the malls in the area and park next door very nice. Service is good. The gym no too large but still very pleasing. Reception is on the 5th floor but pretty much a non-issue.

nice choice of hotel for first time in Kuala Lumper, was refered to stay at Crown Plaza by friends though i think i made a better choice, so close to every things Golden Triangle Pavillion shopping centre night life & the veiw of the Petronis twin towers from our room was spectacular i would fuuly recomend it to anyone.
Shopping Tip : The Pavillon & Twin towers shopping at base of towers were both good & different in each way.

It is very clean, staff were so friendly and the service so good. I had a room that overlooking to the Petronas twin tower. The hotel is in the best location in KL.
I went up to Sky bar on the 33 floor, it was so fantastic. There is a pool right in the middle. The taxi that the hotel recommended is so good.
I don't see any weaknesses of the hotel during my two day stay there.
The hotel is in an excellent location. It is 5 minute walk to KLCC which is one of the biggest shopping centres in KL. Talking about the room, oh it so nice. I got a king size bed for me and my wife. it was so cozy. we were on our honeymoon and my wife loves it so much. There is a huge miror in the room where you can see yourself lying in bed. Oh there is one thing that i really like about the hotel and i found it is hard to find in others is the suckets. Trader hotel has all kind of sockets for your plugs to go in. I could not charge my labtop and my phone when staying in other hotels since they only have one kind of sucket.
One more thing that i like about the hotel is that, the toilet has automatic water spray to clean, that was very convenient for us since we are not used to using toilet paper without water.

good service, good views to klcc, well appointed room
difficult to get cabs with meter, crowded, too many guests
skybar and pool may be a feature here but is over rated; was disappointed with the size, early closure of pool and the best seats are always reserved, very pricey too. strange that the sauna and steam room is not conencted to changing room and toilets. Otherwise the service, checking in were excellent.location is central but in the middle of tourist belt, its impossible to get a cab willing to use the meter, so if you are not in the mood to bargain, take the train at klcc;note the hotel shuttle to klcc does not operate from 2.30 to 5pm (the hottest time of the day! how ironic!)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : taking a cab to kl sentral costs 35 rm flat. take the train from klcc or get a cab to ampang park train station, its only 1.5 rm to get to kl sentral.

location, location, location - the best in town
As I sad - location of the hotel is the best. Rooms with a city view - just simply incredible.
Rooms are very clean and pretty big. Sky bar and pool are a big plus. Walking distance to towers and park even a bigger plus. Hotel is super !!!
Stuff very nice and helpful. Breakfast is perfect and definitely worth the money. On a first day of visit we had a coffee in restaurant on a 6th floor (sky bar was too crowed and noisy for as) and enjoined view and nice music.
We loved this hotel for %100 !!! thanks to all who recommend it before.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : if you want to go to sky bridge - go to line as early as possible. We went at 7 and got tickets just at 10. One person can get up to 5 tickets.
