It was a nice stay. The hotel location is very strategic, the room was clean and tidy with complete amenities, and the breakfast was OK. The best part is the rate is reasonable. Overall, it was a perfect choice for a business traveler looking for a place to sleep after a long tiring day. All that we need are just comfy bed and room, and nice breakfast to start the next day.

very old and dirty room
location
the hotel looks ok from the outside but once you are in the room, u r guaranteed to be disappointed. The room is dirty and smelly and the ceiling are mouldy and very run down. the toilet is super small and outdated. the tv is also those antique tv. not much of parking and its outdoor. I m definitely wont be staying in this hotel again!

I stayed at Felda Residence for one night last week. The location is strategic, close to the Chinesetown. Room was ok, old but clean enough. The problem that I faced was the service of the front staff. Since I'm travelling with two kids, I have requested strongly for a non-smoking room. I booked the room via Agoda, and my request is clearly stated in the booking confirmation. When I arrived, the check-in process was quick, and the front staff gave the card key for a room on the 13th floor. I want to re-confirm about my request for a non-smoking room, and asked the staff whether the room she gave me is a non-smoking room. She quickly replied 'yes'. When I entered the room, I smell a scent of smoke, and I found an ashtray. This is clearly NOT a non-smoking room! So I phoned the front staff, and told her my objection. She quickly said that I can go back down to swap to another room. In the end, I got the real non-smoking room on the 8th floor. The process was quick, means that the room is available at the very first time I arrived at Felda. I truly regret something like this. Why didn't she tell the truth when I try to confirm whether the first room she gave is a non-smoking room or not? If she hadn't noticed about my request, at least she can give me an honest answer. Please improve the service of your staff.
