beautiful beach and swimming pool. The location nearby Merang Jetty, convenient for those who go to Redang Island.
Aircond very noisy, floor not properly sweep, a lots of sands. Mosquitoes a lots too. Far from town, spent a lots on taxi fares, not worth it.
Only stayed for 1 night. Quite relaxing as we enjoyed the swimming pool and beautiful very much.

We booked a standard room, which only has a garden view. But the staff provided the room with sea view. It was very nice. We could hear the sound of the waves and also see the very beautiful sunrise!! The food was okay. The staffs were friendly and nice people.
Quite far from the town (Kuala Terengganu). We took a taxi to the town and it took more than half an hour! We were going to Kota Bharu from Kuala Terengganu by bus, but ended up taking another taxi directly to Kota Bharu. It's that far.
There were a few tourists from abroad, but rather more locals taking holiday or having some seminar. So it was more like a private resort. We quite enjoyed the stay at Sutra Beach Resort.

Far from the city area and no happening spot and restaurant nearby
Room is a bit rundown. However the room view facing the South China Sea is really fascinating especially during sunset. Nice big swimming pool. However you need to have your owned car in order to get the advantage of the hotel location. No nearby attraction that is within the walking distance, hence left you with no choice to eat the food at the hotel which is quite pricey.

Staff friendliness, sea view, secluded, near airport
No hot water in my room, distant from ammenities
Overall it was a much too short a stay to fully describe or give a fair review, but in terms of hospitality it was very satisfactory. Besides the really bad weather, that made it impossible for us to enjoy the scenery, beach and pool, the only other negative impact was the fact that in our bathroom the furniture and decoration was in need of a facelift and there was no hot water during the night and day. The breakfast buffet was very satisfactory as they had a range of european and asian delicacies.

Great resort right on the beach. Good restaurant. Good swimming pool.
Resort was too far from town and no shuttle service.
We were very pleased with the resort itself but it was quite a distance from the city and as there was no shuttle service we were restricted as to where we could go and taxis were to be ordered 1 day in advance and were a bit expensive. Staff were very good and the food was good and an excellent setting.

Food is okay, we did not really do a lot here. If you stay here make sure to get a beach chalet.

large rooms, breakfast, rest, swimming pool
far away from everything, no tour desk and no opportunities to escape zomder car
the hotel was a relief with a nice large swimming pool. hours you can walk on the large sandy beach and is quiet. breakfast is very good and the dinner is good. do you sit down at the hotel if you do not have own car and that is unfortunate. there is no possibility to book a tour while on the website stated. we like to forests tasik kenyir and asked an external agency rm 600 for 2 people. this was us too much. it's fun to make 1 or 2 nights are but if you have no car, is no longer needed.

Beautiful beach just outside the door with good badmöjligheter in the sea for both adults and children.
Lite nergångna hotel room, Ants in the bathroom, Rusty hot water tank in the cupboard under the sink.
The hotel is incredibly beautiful with view over the sea and islands off the coast. A long sandy beach with the opportunity to play and very enjoyable moments just outside the door and right in the shallow sea is perfect when traveling with children. The room was a little nergånget and we had Ants in the bathroom that came in through the Rusty hot water tank in the sink, felt a little sad.
