the hotel is located quite far from the town. however its location may make beneficial to those who want a gateway from huslte of the city. the cons is when you need to eat then you may need to go to the town which is about few kilos away. the beach is clean but the water is not. so there may be not much choice of water sport or you dont mind get into the dirty water. the club meb is just few kilometers away and it provide a more private beach with roughly a same price. i would suggest there for those who want complete privacy.

Nice hotel to stay but not convenience to go to Kuantan town coz far away & have more than 8 traffic lights we have to pass through to reach kuantan town

First impression at the lobby, with the water features or rather few small pond, make the lobby looks attractive. Upon checking, when presented the copy of the printout, the staff just ask for a signature then present me the room key card. What i requested during the booking which is non smoking room and room facing the sea are fulfilled.The staff also friendly.
The room is very nice. My family love it. It is quite a big room also. With a view of the sea and the pool, just by staying at the balcony only, you already fall in love with the view.
The pool is divided to two section. I didn't explore the adult pool because have to take care of my four kids together with my wife. But the kids pool also is quite big and the parents have no problem playing inside the pool with their kids.
Walking to the beach also is quite convenience. The beach itself is very nice. The only problem that i see is, only one area for cleaning once you coming back from the beach.
The breakfast area is nice and the food presented is sufficient and plenty of choices also. My kids were having a great time at the breakfast table.
There are plenty of food joints around the hotel which I think is quite convenience especially if you want to taste the local food.
Overall the hotel is nice. Obviously I will recommend this hotel to my family and my friends as their choice of hotel when holidaying in Kuantan.

Booked 3 rooms (1 non-smoking + 2 smoking rooms) for this trip. The Non-smoking room was good as usual, evertyhing okay clean (got a room at 04th floor, facing pool/garden, but also get nice seaview).
The 2 Smoking rooms, one complaint - mosquitoes were in the room very annoying, it seems the mosquitoes were coming in from the bathroom, therefore got to close bathroom door alltime to avoid more and more mosquitoes getting in to the room, one complaint - without hot water in shower and luckly it was hot in kuantan that day that he doesn't a hot shower.

The pool was fantastic for children the beach was great for them to play on. The water was a little murky but the water was warm. The rooms were very disappointing they were small, old and ours had a view of what looked like a dump yardor car park. We asked to be moved and were ungraded and it wasnt much better. The breakfast buffet was average and the food from the garden terrace restaurant was unedible. The highlights were the pool for the kids and the staff overall were lovely.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Dont stay in family suites they were awful.

Refurbished
Existing Hotel but new rooms

this is my second stay within 2 months. but the first stay was horrible as the room they gave me is in bad condition.however i am surprised as this time i got a better room. the furniture looks good and the timber floor looks new. so when you check in, pleaserequest for a refurbish room. the only problem is from the carpark to the lift. it's quite a distance and carrying the luggage could be tiring. so drive your car to the main lobby and drop the luggage there.
