Lovely hotel and service with a smile

We enjoy the 2 days 1 night stay at Swiss-Garden Resort, nice room, wonderful beach. Staff are helpful and friendly but if wifi service is provided for free will be perfect!

Decent beachfront hotel
The view of South China Sea from our room balcony was fantastic

it looked older than expected when we first arrived, especially the outdated space frame structure. i like the casual atmosphere of the open air lobby. however the view was interrupted by three temporary tent structure set up just outside the lobby for al fresco dining. the rooms that comes with timber flooring is a nice touch. view from the balcony especially during sunset is fantastic. breakfast buffet was decent but not memorable. overall
its a decent hotel for its price. the video arcade is a bit outdated, better be upgraded or replaced with internet facilities or other indoor games.

great beach, away from busy city
aging hotel... room need some renovation/upgrade

1) dissapointed with hotel wi-fi, free for 2hr only and chargeable after that, should be free for the price we paying for sea view room
2) hair dryer = antique, yellowish, covered with dust, not even dare to use it ! how much it would cost the management to upgrade them ?
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
be prepare to travel more than 20km for shopping mall
nothing much within walking distance

The hotel generally has good facilities and well located. It is suitable for all type of travellers. Those who are interested to enjoy sea will have it in front of their eyes. Those who like village ambience, it is a door step away. Our trip co-incided with Ramadan period and we did our breaking fast at Garden Cafe. There are many choices of food to please our appetite; the best is of course grilled lamb.
Cost of stay is rather higher. The management should consider reducing it slightly.
Other than that, our family is happy with the stay.

Agreeable hotel if a little tired

Staff were very welcoming and room was clean if a little tired. Beach front location was great and so too was the pool. Reasonable gym.
Only stayed one night. Al a cate dinner was ok but buffet breakfast was much better.
Malibu Club bar had a good band but so few guests there despite being a Friday night meant little atmosphere.
This was my second visit and would probably choose again.

Location is close to Kuantan town, and to the other beaches nearby

nice hotel and environment. room conditions are ok but toilet sometimes do have some smell that need to be eliminated. breakfast ok but table need to be cleaned as there are many flies around.swimming pool is quite clean and overall food ok.
