the only thing i don't like is that they offered me and my family a welcome drink in the pub. i am sure some of the guest dont mind having a non alchoholic drinks in a pub but for me and my family we dont like it. i suggest the hotel offer the welcome drinks at some other places rather than the pub.

this is my 3rd time stay in swiss garden. great improvement! the renovated deluxe sea view rooms and, excellent service - the staff was fixing the room's problem in a good speed! also, good place for the breakfast..i was sitting outside area for breakfast, as i was eating 'nasi lemak' - it somehow attracted a little 'lalat' to my table. the staff quickly put a candle light on my table and solve the problem. see! so sweet and this is call customer service....

Nice location, but room a bit old.
Close distance to eatery and easy access to places.

The overall look and environment is good. The hotel looks nice and close to the beach. Great place to relax. The service is good as well. But they might want to improve the room interior which looks a bit too old style. Modern touches, fixtures and fittings can help a lot to make it a better stay.

When we arrived, the hotel was teeming with people and check-in was smooth. The hotel was fully booked (school holidays). All they had was two singles, instead of one king, so we made lemonade. The rooms are dated(garden-view side), like many have mentioned. On the 3rd and 4th floor the sea-view rooms seem renovated with the flat screens. Anyhow, the location of the hotel is on some prime stretch of beach.
Even though the beach is public, it is large and it was not that crowded even on a holiday weekend. We managed to walk not so far and be alone with an occasional passer-bys. Had a chance to read and relax on the beach, while inhaling the fresh sea air and listening to waves crash.
Overall impressions, an excellent location in terms of beach front property in area not so densely populated. The lobby and pool are beautiful, the rooms could use an upgrade, but they are clean. A great place for couples or families to escape to soak up some rays and splash in the sea
Restaurant Tip:
Satay Zul, in Kuantan city, was definitely a delectable treat.

Hotel was good location, but very busy

This hotel is OK, however, it was full of local people and they tended to swim with their clothes on.The pool was very busy, I guess it was a school holiday. Nice though, you could get a beer, so all in all for a relaxing weekend, its not a bad place really

the hotel is located right next to the beach. in fact, it had its own private beach area. the surroundings are pleasant and gives a very natural feel. it's good for viewing the sunrise.
the hotel breakfast was also excellent. the variety of food was great, with a mixture of local fare and international cuisine. in particular, the desserts were delicious.
however, the hotel itself is not very near any amenities. it is recommended that guests have their own cars. in fact, the hotel car park was pretty full when we were there.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile

Our stay for 4 days & 3 nights was good except we hv to wait for our room to ready upon check in eventhough we arrived at 5pm (check in time is 3pm)
