Dirty hotel, indifferent service
Easy to get to, good Chinese restaurant, very nice beach, close to Kuantan town.

Overall very disappointing.
Our rooms were nicely located, but the rooms were dirty (the floors sandy and sticky, bathroom dirty), smelt of stake smoke (despite smoking not being allowed in air-conditioned rooms), and the balcony smelt of urine.
Breakfast was chaotic as the hotel was obviously seriously overbooked; the staff were indifferent, harried and the food was of poor quality and ran out. Coffee was cold.
The Chinese restaurant has good food, but one waitress in particular offered very rude service, the opening hours were erratic -- we never knew for sure if it would be open on time for lunch or dinner.
The pool area was very messy, and there was no one managing the people so the kids pool was dominated by adults playing with water shooters.
Overall the experience was very disappointing; we'd never recommend it to anyone again.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Probably only best during the really slow seasons; hotel management obviously not able to cope with near to full or full occupancy.

Ideal local getaway for school holidays

The hotel was overbooked during my stay so we got an upgrade to a studio suite which was rather pleasant.
Loved the pool and the beachside which is the primary reason for going for vacation. Kid friendly ... with daily organised activities. I liked the idea of screening a movie outdoors near the beachfront at night - that was a novel idea.
Areas which did not meet expectations was breakfast - seems like food was always running out - but understandable given it was school holidays.
Housekeeping folks also missed giving out sufficient towels - 2 facetowels were missing, and a floormat as well.
Other than that, everything else made the stay a pleasant one
Restaurant Tip:
There is a restaurant opposite the hotel called Oh Fatimah. It has a local delicacy called keropok lekor. It comes in both a fried and steamed version, I enjoyed both. Highly recommended.

Very much delayed check-in time
The lobby environment is very nice, with flowing water and piano musics.

Very very disappointed with one of the front desk service personnel.I reached the hotel at 4pm, which is one hour behind the actual check-in time 3pm. However, I was told that my room is still not ready! She told me that once room is ready she will call to my handphone. However, after waiting till 6pm,I went to her and ask how come it took so long to prepare a room. She said she had called me many times but nobody answers. I replied her that my phone never rings at all and ask for the form that I had filled in during my arrival. My purpose is to check whether I had wrongly filled in my handphone number. She refuse to give me the form and reluctantly said that all is her fault. Her attitude is really no good. Anyway, I did not want to argue further with her also therefore I went to my room immediately.

Nice & spacious family room. Beautiful beach.
Large room, big swimming pool and good breakfast spread.

This hotel is family friendly type. Other than enjoying the beach and pools my childrens enjoy themselves at kids games center and batik painting activities.

Great hotel but average in service facilities

we were stayed for 3days and 2 night. we reach the hotel at 1.00 pm an lucky they allow us to check in early as normally check in will be only at 3pm. we were recommended to stay at level 4 and we felt great and has made a right choice. the view from the htel was great as we can see the swimmong pool and beach. we spent a lot of ourtime at the beach after 11am.
