The hotel was average at best.

The resort hotel was very average. Some parts of the hotel were in a poor state of repair. When we arrived our room did not have adequate towels (no flanels or face towels)Hot water did not work and we had problems with the aircon (leaking). WE complained to the hotel and everything was put right. In my view this was not the standard I expect

I would highly recommend Bidayuh Baruk Suite- a beautifully designed from the Sarawakian's Bidayuh themed house, with the ocean and hills view from the cliff top. Friendly staff, great breakfast, comfortable stay. There is also BBQ facility with food packages offered- great for family vacation. The Baruk Suite is on top of the hill, there is no parking space in front of the suites, you could take the 24hrs complementary shuttle service within the resort.Would definitely come back.

I'm enjoying my stay at Damai Beach Resort. The staff there are friendly and always smile and eager to help us if we need assistance. The sunset view and beach is great.
