It is near to few shopping mall n kuching oldest shopping street.

The service at the reception was by far the best I've encountered, they were very quick to response and were able to help with all our requests, incl. restaurant tips, helping us book local tours which were even cheaper than other local tour vendors I enquired with.
Rooms were nice and clean, we had a room facing the river, and as the hotel is situated on the highest point of the small town, we enjoyed a view on the river.
Best of all was the large, spacious bathroom with small details that we appreciated. Housekeeping was fast to respond when we called to ask for toothbrushes and choose our own pillows.
I would definitely recommend others to stay here and this would be my first choice if I do visit Kuching again!
Restaurant Tip:
Definitely try the Top Spot seafood food court on the 6/F of the car park just down the road. They have loads of choices and very fresh vegetables.
Local food like kolo mee and Sarawak laksa is even closer, hidden in a side street at the Dawn cafe. Turn right once exiting the hotel and cross the street into the smaller streets.

Good hotel with large space

I will say it is a good choice for who are travelling with kid.
The room space is big enough and my wife likes its bath room much.
But one thing have to be highlighted, the room provided only LAN for internet access and it is only given for 1 hour free for each check in day. Furthermore it is running at a very low speed as 0.1Mgb/s.
We can neither use Maxis 3G as we stayed at high floor.
Overall i will say it is a pleasure stay.

pullman is a nice hotel. super view from the hotel. the staff were very polite and friendly.the breakfast was marvellous. the faciliities were beautiful. i enjoyed staying in pullman hotel over the five days. it is a beautiful hotel and you must really try it! i can't wait to stay in pullman hotel again!

We have just come home following and a three night stay at the Hotel (last minute decision booking). We are first visitors to the lakes and our favourite haven was fully booked, so we thought we would try somewhere new, and we were very glad we did. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was well decorated and very clean, and the food was very good. They are also very welcoming for one night bookings, which is often difficult to find. We ate in the restaurant that night and the food was very good, with very generous portions. I had a rump chick meat which was cooked perfectly to my specification, and was good quality produce. I would definately recommend the homemade cheesecake - excellent!!!! Breakfast was also good service, very large portions. Excellent service in the restaurant.
The only thing I would have changed, for our personal preference, was the cheap food in the bedroom. They were very pale and didnt block out any light at all, so the room was bright light as soon as the sun came up (4.30am!!). Easily resolved - I will pack eye masks when we go back. When we first checked in, we were worried about road noise, as the road outside is very slow, but the windows are best quality double glazing that blocked it out well. Will definitely go back.
