The Crowne Plaza Riverside in Kuching is a pleasant hotel with a nice location across the street from the Sarawak River. A highrise opposite the hotel blocks a full view, but from my upper floor room I had nice views of the river and villages on the other bank. Staff were efficient and courteous. Easy to walk to most places in the city. I would definately stay there again.

Basic rooms with normal basic facilities in. Rooms are very old and the same goes to the bathrooms. Not really 5 star besides the price, hotel is just a standard 3 star to my opinion.

Restaurant Tip : Try to walk out from the hotel for better food choices and for better pricing on local food.
