Outdated facilities; breakfast was not good One night the shower tap was broken and water splashed everywhere in the bathroom. I called the reception but people came only after 15 minutes. He took another 20 minutes to fix the problem. Not best experience I've had.

the breakfast was ok, the room was good, the workers are friendly, the hotel is pretty and clean. the swimming pool was quite dirty. honestly, i really enjoyed my stay at the the hotel. when i checked in, the receptionist was very friendly. the room is very comfortable for the price we paid which was quite cheap. the hotel is actually much more worth it compared to the price we paid. the toilet is clean and functioning well. the location of the hotel is not so bad. its quite close to the beach where we could walk quickly to catch the sunset or sunrise and also to play by the beach. there are lots of restaraunts n shops opposite the hotel which was very convenient. overall, i had a great time!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : the island hopping is a MUST. it was fun!

Maybe 10 years ago it was a nice hotel-or it's guests ruined it so quickly...rooms are dirty-not used - simply dirty. I did not like clerks approach-I don't think it nice to turn back on someone you talk to or simply leave without saying anything...Hotel is close to the center and restaurants - which are however closed till approx. 14:00...Generally speaking not the hotel but the whole Island itself is...nothing special...Travelling 10000 km from Europe just to see a reasort like the ones in Egypt is not what you are looking for I guess...
Restaurant Tip : Almost all the restaurants are closed till approx 14:00 so if you wanna have breakfast I suggest you...yoghurt from Seven 2 Seven Shop

old furniture, not working flush in toilet we stayed there for 3 nights. very unsatisfied with the toilet.called 2 times to ask for repair the non-working flush, but it's still not working.

Great swimming pool and reasonable room rate Room a bit too old and slightly smelly, but still acceptable. This hotel has great swimming pool and we had good fun at it. The room rate is quite reasonable and can't demand too much. Breakfast is ok though. But the TV can only receive 2 local boring channels only, which is really a drawback to me. Anyway, my 2 cents opinion, with little investment to upgrade/renew the hotel room, it will definately be greater to stay.
Restaurant Tip : more variety and choices for dinning at Kuah town

Enormous pool even with wave machine!
Between two nice beaches
Big parking area
Nice breakfast
Very large rooms (and very high rooms as well)
Good working airco Rooms do need some updating (some paint would do good for the rooms)
At some points the pool is too big for the staff to keep clean, so expect some leafs and sand in the pool.
No wifi internet This hotel is good for its price. The location is nice, lots of restaurants and pubs in the area. The pool area of the hotel is awesome! Service is okay. Breakfast is nice, has everything you need. Room is very large and has a good working shower. Rooms do need repainting and updating. Don't expect a 4star room and you will be fine. Langkawi is very nice and beer is only RM 4 on the beach! Had a great time!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Langkawi hill/cable car station. 7wells waterfall. Hotel is very near to the aquarium.

Roti Jala at breakfast - v tasty!!! Unfriendly, nothing like the pictures, filthy, and fridge didn't work!! When arrived room was filthy had not been cleaned and the fridge warmed your drinks instead of cooled! Mentioned it to reception 4 times but nothing was done about it! Cleaners do come around every day but not sure what they did in room as same dirt remained every day! Apart from Roti Jala's at breakfast it was not good and there isn't really anytihng positive to say about the hotel!!
Restaurant Tip : Little lilia's overlooking Chaweng beach is really nice and friendly and good value, rcommend the BBQ chicken satay at sunset!!!

Pool.
Close to the beach, restuarants and beach. Staff are lazy and not that friendly.
Hotel needs some maintenance, a little outdated.
We actually moved on to another hotel. There was no-one staying at the Aseania as it was low-season, hard to imagine this hotel full in peak season. We moved to the Sheraton hotel after a couple of days. Looking back it was good to stay at Aseania for 2 nights as we got to see all of cenang. Hotel has alot to be desired!!!!

Value for money, Largest swimming pool in the whole island clean and tempting, pool bar, big discotheque & location. Slightly neglected especially paint work in room and restaurant otherwise very good. The hotel location is ideal where you save on taxi charges since access to shops, some sightseeing locations, restaurants and shopping is just a stone throw away. I would certainly recommend this location since the price is good and overall condition acceptable. I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times and find the place to be warm and friendly. On a different note, a trip to the cable car is a must do item, the view is breath taking.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Duty free shopping for liquor is cheaper at the duty free shop close to the hotel than airport duty free shops.

The pumps on pool went down, so pool was closed for half our stay. The staff where not very friendly and didnt really have a clue about anything you asked about, the restaurant couldnt handle all of the guests at breakfast and this was in low season, god only knows what they do when its busy ?
This hotel really could do with a major company buying it as this could be a fantastic hotel !!!

The sheets were clean,
the air con worked
it was cheap but then it was off season and had no frills! hotel was in need of repair - a decent handyman who could paint/fix things would be a huge asset to this hotel.
The fact that the plug for the electrical shower (yes i said plug!!) was in the shower beside you was very concerning. Tried explaining this to little avail - it was easier just not to shower
The huge pink exterior does absolutely nothing for this hotel other than commit to memory for the wrong reasons - think big barbarellas castle !!
Buffet breakfast was really poor. The worst i've ever had
it was cheap and it was clean. But.. it was low season, the place is huge and it was empty so they were doing well to have me stay. It really did look shabby and needs a good face lift but if all you are looking for is a clean bed then you'll be grand here. The buffet breakfast had literally nothing but rice and noodles! If you want any type of a frill keep looking

nice staff On the boring end of the beach strip, a bit of a walk to the beach.
Hotel is nice, but rooms are outdated.
Nice pool, but is closed if there is rain/lightning, and closed at night. Stayed here during storm with pouring rain. There is nothing to do in the hotel when it rains, covered space is limited to the lobby/cafe and pool is closed. Rooms are decent size and there is free wifi. Rooms are outdated and could use a few million RM in remodeling to make it a really great place.
