room clean & replacement towels and toiletries all done when we were out,enjoying the sight-seeing..room was spacious & cosy and the twin beds comfortable for the price we paid..there is none to complained just 3 days /2 nights stay @ aseania resort,the price paid for the short stay in Langkawi was great value..i can recommend this to anyone going to stay @ Aseania Resort Langkawi..and certainly if i do the trip again will certainly use Agoda.com to booked..no fuss and very convenience & a lot cheaper than travel agent I was quoted
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : get to rent a car..and see the beautiful island at a leisurely pace..car rental is cheap from RM$60 a day..U get to see a lot more going round the island & town centre for shopping(as Langkawi is a duty free port)as a Malaysian its a holiday & paradise for shoppers..enjoy by my daughter & I

Location not too bad. Swimmingpool area ok. Hotel is totally worn out, service is bad. Lousy breakfast. Everything is like from the 1980s, not much done after that, looks like so. Do choose some other hotel instead of this. We stayed here for 4 nights, didn't like it. It's not cosy at all. Would not recommend it. There are better hotels in the area, even motels beat this hotel for a lower price. There are not many positive things to say about this hotel.
Restaurant Tip : Little Garden is a lovely cafe close to the hotel.

- lovely big rooms
- really nice garden/pool area
- pretty decent breakfast
- at the end of the strip of shops/restaurants
- very friendly staff - mosquitoes (not really hotel's fault)
- beach it's closest too has very pebbly sand, have to walk further for the better one the one thing you'll notice with this place is that it is painted PINK!!
very very big room with a view to the pool. fantastic location at the end of the street where all the shops/restaurants are. lots of supermarkets on this side of the strip to buy bottles of water, snacks, food, etc. managed to get free wifi here as well
the beach it is closest too has very pebbly sand and walking along the wet set was like walking in quicksand. my feet kept sinking and made it hard to walk. you need to walk down the strip for about 5-10 minutes to get to the entrance of the better side of the beach. lovely soft sand and lots of nice bars
underwater world is also close by and nice to check out. there's guy who offers to let you hold a python and takes a picture for you for 10 ringetts
the locals say the club in the hotel goes off on the weekends. too bad i was there during the weekday so couldn't see if it was true. hotel workers were also fantastic and give me suggestions on where/what to do

Very nice location.there was many bistro,minimarket,spa,restaurant nearby.just walk around 5 minute.value for money.if you just want to find somewhere to rest...

good swimming pool, clean and tidy room, wi fi availibility breakfast was not at all good, wi-fi was available but not in rooms so it was a beat problem, mosquitoes in bathroom when i booked the hotel, i thought it is really worth of money but it was below my expectation. guys, don't go on the photographs shown on the website. don't book the room with breakfast as it is not worth better go out side and have your breakfast. search for the best rates online for other hotels as well b'coz there are good hotel in langkawi

Room are outdated and not clean The rooms are outdated and it only have local channel. The breakfast is soo lame and not tasty. However the location is fabulous.. It's just a 5min walking distances to the beach and there are various seafood shop available with lots of Langkawi gifts to buy.

Big room, comfortable big bed. Close to beach. Great swimming pool Staff not overly interested in their job. Very limited choice of breakfast. On TV only 3 local channels. no safety deposit box. For the money I spent, this hotel is very good value. This is an excellent place to stay for family with children.
My only complaint would be lack of safety box to lock documents and other valuables. The staff was young and without much experience. They were learning on the job.
Close to this hotel are many restaurants and smaller shopping places. I did try young coconuts and they were excellent.
Hotel Feature Tip : In afternoons, when beach become too hot, the swimming pool is the best.

The stay period was 5 days, 4 nights.
The deluxe room is very satisfactory for all of us. The resort is rather accessible to the beach and nearby spa and F&B outlets. Should you like to go farther, the resort is able to charter a taxi for you in less than 5 minutes time. The overall stay was a very pleasant one.

Friendly staff, excellent (massive) swimming pool 10 min walk from the beach. Room was dark This is a good choice for a reasonably-priced hotel on Langkawi. Staff were very amenable and let me check-in early and sit by the swimming pool all afternoon after check-out, for no extra cost. Room was large, adequately clean, good AC. The lighting was poor. Breakfast was fine. When I visited (mid oct) there were few people staying there so I had a very peaceful and relaxing time by a huge, clean swimming pool. I also stayed at Federal villas during my trip - although Federal has the bonus of being on the beach, I preferred Aseania because it was clean and had a laid-back atmosphere.

Location of the hotel.Its near to the every location of the Pentai chanag Room service could be better Overall the location of the hotel is very good .The beach, all the restaurants and the underwater world are walking distance from the hotel area. Hotel staffs are very friendly.Overlall room condition can be better I mean the room cleanliness and also the washroom is not that much in good condition.

The environment,the perfect pool and the disco to freak out The bathroom badly needs renovating ,more channels for the tv I particularly liked the ample space around the surroundings of the hotel ,not to mention the very friendly bartender at the poolside who made tthe ever so nice long island tea ,it was my birthday it was so memorable especially when the band sang for me at the disco that night

this hotel is one of the best i have stayed in asia! its a 4 star hotel with a 3 star price the breakfast is superb and the staff are extremly freindly.the swimming pool is the best i have seen anywhere else in the world in a beautiful landscape setting.the hotel is central to everything you need.all in all this is the complete package

Clean, nice main pool, not too far from the beach other pools were a bit dirty, a lot of fallen leaves etc; staff had to be asked to turn on the water feature so that we could use the slide and "jacuzzi" If you're looking for non-budget, but relatively cheap accommodation, this fits the bill quite nicely. The rooms were a bit dark, but if you're only going to sleep in the rooms, who cares? Don't count on TV entertainment on rainy days though; the TV only has channels in Malay, so it's best to bring your own rainy-day-entertainment pack. Like cards. By the way, it's quite close to the beach, and there are a couple of mini-marts nearby. There's also a cheap eatery beside the big minimart (beside the resort) which has cheap and good food.

Rooms is badly mantained - water leaking in toilet room 1307, air con is not cold for room 1405, bed is dirty & have a lot of dust. For the same price you might get a bigger room if you are lucky. Staff is not helpful or friendly, before you ask them anything, they would tell you they don't have it. No lift There is 2 types of room for the same price. If you are lucky enough, you will get a bigger room. I was told by the hotel staff that all room in their hotel same price regardless of whatever view or room. When we check in, they give us room 1405, the air con is not working & we request to change room after few complains & they change us to another room & to our surprise, the new room is much more bigger & nicer than the earlier room but however, the second room the washroom water is leaking. The hotel is poorly maintained & there is no lift, so those who travelling with children would not be convenient to stay in the hotel. The bed in the room is dirty & dusty & I could not stop sneezing the whole night. Swimming pool is big but the water in the pool is quite dirty. Food is not much variety & the taste is horrible. As for the staff, they are not helpful or friendly, before we ask for anything, they standard reply would be they don't have it. If you have other choice, I would not recommend you to stay in Asenia. I would only rate this hotel 1 star.
