My trip to langkawi was kinda last minute plan. I was calling up Bayview Hotel, but it's out for reservation. I was very disappointed, until i was recommended by friend on "agoda", and managed to get my rooms with very good price, and most importantly it's sea view!!
i was travelling with young baby and old aged parent, and bayview comes to my choice. The room is pretty big, and cosy. Although the hotel in overall is a little rundown, but it's still serve good stay.
I'm impressed with the staff during check-in, where the requests that i wrote down in agoda during my booking, had been taken care of. This has beyond my expectation, which i thought the written requests are typically ignored.
My baby has no problem with the stay, and parent was happy with it.
The location is very convenient for family that needs grocery occasionally, and the shops are just within walking distance. There are night markets on Saturday which are just outside of the hotel.
The breakfast is rather less choices, which needs a little improvement.
Shopping Tip:
For chocolate, can consider Teow Soon Huat, the price is slightly cheaper than others, but very limited choices.

Great location in the centre of Kuah town

This is a great hotel to stay with easy excess to Duty free shops, seafood & very near to ferry terminal.It took us about 10-15 min. to reach the Gunong Raya Golf course.Highly recommeded to travellers seeking a place to relax & shop.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Golf at Gunong Raya. It is cheap & good.

i was really enjoyed with my stay at bayview langkawi. a spacious room for a couple, well-equipped, nearer to kuah town and easy access to bank and nice seaview from the hotel and really breathtaking.
i'm looking forward to stay at bayview langkawi in the future if i want to have a holiday at langkawi. truely satisfied.

Shopping Tip:
Very near to shopping area we dont have to waste money to pay for the taxi cause shopping are only few minits walk from the hotel, its very convenient.

The hotel is located close to duty free shops and Jetli. The travel desk in hotel is priced high compared to other tour operators at Jetli.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Please don't use hotel travel desk for sightseeing booking instead you can go to Jetli where you have lot of tour operators who offer good price for the same tour service which hotel has to offer.

The view from the window was lovely - The hills and the Bay. The rooms are ok - a little old but clean and comfortable. Good value for money.
