Best hotel in Kuah town......for shopping

Despite there being a wide choice of hotels, Bayview is inevitably our select hotel everytime we visit Kuah town in Langkawi - and that over the last 10 years. We omitted making room requests when booking through Agoda and therefore emailed the hotel subsequently. They responded within the same day and met our requests. Unfortunately, our breakfast allocation was stated as for one person only. The hotel staff handled my protest most profesionally.
Restaurant Tip:
Great seafood chef at Weng Fung within a 10 minute walk from Bayview.

The staff is nice and efficient. The room is spacious but lack of furnitures. It is a bit old but without smell. The bed is comfortable with very good air conditioning. Nice view over the harbour.

I stay in Bayview hotel langkawi on 24/2/12~27/2/12 (3 nights), i late check in hotel because my flight was delay, but when i reach to airport i can easy to find the hotel by the map i get from airport. The rooms is big with 2 super single bed & clean. Their breakfast not much chooice. Hotel location is good, easy to find seafood restaurant for dinner. Nearby the jetty point, so can find the island hopping tour from there.
Restaurant Tip:
Nearby beach can find seafood restaurant with cheaper price.

Hotel is OK but the room was just so-so

the hotel has a good location and just 10 mins walk to the kuah downtown and 15 mins walk to the kuah night market (open on wed only). breakfast is ok, but the room looks quite old and there is some smell which is not very comfortable to stay for too long. most of the staff are helpful.

it was a wonderful trip. excellent place to relax and get away from the busy city life. the room was nicely design, spacious and comfortable. the landscaping of the hotel is nicely done, a good place to just walk around and take a breather. definitely recommend other travelers to stay here. great place, reasonable price.
