Strategic location, ease to find, breakfast was good(considered very good for a 3 stars hotel),reasonable price after discounted, Room keeper very friendly and responsible. Only one thing we are not very happy with was the elevator, it was quite stuffy and not really confortable while inside the elevator. Perhaps the exhaust fan wasn't work well? We were very enjoyed while staying in Bayview Hotel, workers are friendly and they are really doing their jobs, the breakfast we took were good, the beds in the room were not expected queen size double, it was huge enough for one person and very confortable for sleeps. Good value of money per night, thanks to Agoda coorporation. Nice view of the Deluxe Seaview room package, and the bathroom is well bigger than expected for a 3 stars hotel. We will definately will going back the same hotel if we've an opportunity to visit Langkawi again.
Restaurant Tip : The reason we had chosen this hotel mainly becaise of it's location, it is located near by those business shop lots and some shopping complex, ease for us to drive over to obtain food and drinks. Besides, it is very near by some of the restaurant and the Thai food is very nice!

1) very close to ferry
2) great breakfast
3) beautiful pool area
4) by night market 1) hotel is past its hay-day and needs some upgrades
2) there are few places to eat in the area that we thought looked appealing
3) WiFi was not available in the rooms when we were there. This is the only Agoda hotel where we've ever stayed that didn't require the pritned agoda confirmation. The staff was all very pleasant and the hotel was conveniently located to downtown shopping and the ferry. We enjoyed visiting the night market where there was a local dance performance going on. We would return to this hotel for its convenience, but little else. There are few interesting options in DT Kuah, so it's an ok option out of a bunch of ok options.

Central to Kwah Town of Langkawi, good price and new/clean hotel. Breakfast poor choice & very expensive if you want to exlpore outside of Kwah Town. The best 4* in Kwah Town - rooms were modern, clean and stylish, beautiful seaview with large window. Only had this hotel for 2 nights as we booked a 5* resort hotel near the main beach near the airport for 3 nights (there is a large beach with a long road of retaurants, whereas Kwah Town is very small with only a handful of markets stalls selling local things which I found boring after 2 full days here). 2 nights here was about enough and the hotel room view made it even nicer. We finished our stay in Kwah Town with an Island Hopping trip.
Good location hotel to explore the Town Centre of Langkawi, but try to book another hotel West of Langkawy Island to exlore the better parts, i.e. beach, restaurants, Cable Cars and other excursions.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Great for exploring Kwah Town and Mangrove River Tour but not West of Langkawi - expensive in taxi fares, best to hire a car.

Because we stayed at the executive rooms,everything in the minibar was FOC, including beer!!! There were also complimentary snacks and drinks at the executive lounge. The reason we stayed at this hotel was because the rates were quite reasonable, inclusive of breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised when we were told upon check-in that everything in the minibar was complimentary, and the minibar was very well stocked with soft drinks and beer. The room amenities were also complete. Other than the usual soaps, shampoo, toothbrush/toothpaste kit, shaving kit, sewing kit, etc. there were also 2 bottles of body lotion to moisturize and soothen the skin after a long day in the sun. All in all, a great hotel for a great family vacation. Keep up the good work!!!

Right in the centre of the town.You are served with a smile. Reception is really pleasant.Facilities are worth the price you pay for. No newspapers provided. Food served should be labelled.We need to know what we are eating. Our arrival at the hotel was met with a pleasant welcome at the reception by the smiling and polite receptionist. The room was comfortable and was up to our expectation. The service was excellent in every aspect. The hotel business centre was professional and gave the accurate information and service we wanted. Food and service at Flamingo cafe was good. Overall our stay in Bayview, Langkawi was a memorable one. Checking in, checking out and everything was so quick and easy.

It is located at the city centre. Nice hotel environment, friendly staffs and close to retail shops and eatery outlets. bathroom is a bit run-down, hotel breakfast has not much to offer. One of the main advantages is the location. Situated right in the centre of the town means retail outlet shops and eatery are just walking distances away. Car parks are also available since we hired a car in Langkawi. The friendly staff allowed us late check-out at 3pm (standard is 12pm) as we were on an island hopping boat trip. Highly recommended this hotel, due to the cheap prices and the quality of services you will get.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : make sure you hired a car to get around the island. You will save on taxi fare and the time. PLus you get to go anywhere you want with your car.

specious rooms,cleanlyness. They dont have maps and tourist information office at there hotel. Bayview hotel is a real nice hotel having everything u needed. The wifi quality is poor.Rooms r nice,Foo is good,Location is very perfect,near the jetty as well as closed to the market,Overall we got a nice experiance in our 5 nights stay,In future,we will definately book this hotel.

upgrade me to 3 days seaview though I book 2 days seaview 1 day hillview hotel staff automatically upgrade me from hillview to seaview room without my request and despite I book seaview and hillview room for some days. they dont provide toothpaste & tooth brush unless upon request, they have trust in people, upon checkout, they wont check room & believe what u say & return

Some shops nearby, easy access to these shops, quite convenient.
Staff services are quite efficiency, could arrange and delivery to your room soon. while our stay, there is someone smoke at elevator(lifting) area, thought that level is Non-Smoking floor. Think hotel should keep eyes on those smokers. Seems like this area is not tourist prefer stay location any more. but can take taxi or get a car drive to others places, not too difficult.
Still a Nice hotel to stay.

Large rooms,good buffet and friendly staff. the sheets and towels do not do justice to the rooms. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bayview. Location, price, quality was just right. The Chinese Pheonix Restaurant is not to be missed. The Spa was also a welcome retreat to end our trip. All in all a very pleasant trip and complete VFM (Value For Money. The only down side to the stay was we were not really impressed with the towels and sheets. They did not do justice to the hotel or the rooms. Especially when there were better towels being used at the spa and the pool.
Shopping Tip : Lots of duty free shops right around the hotel.

Easy checkin process. Friendly staff. Has all the amenities expected. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple but acceptable. Within walking distance of shops. Good parking. Location was not easy to find if you are driving there for the first time. The staff were helpful. My questions about opening hours of the local shops and official working hours were explained clearly and patiently.
I had a small problem with the room safe. Someone came almost immediately to rectify and it was done quickly.
My observation was the hotel could do with a bit of renovation but was kept very clean. I visited the meeting room floors and swimming pool in addition to the main lobby and cafe.
Since the hotel was doing convention business it should find an alternative space for convention members to gather properly.
Shopping Tip : The small shops around the hotel seems better than a shopping center next door which we found empty.

located at the main town, many shop, low price, the room are very big and comfort, the staff are kindly and helpful. need take 30mins taxi to the nearest public beach, that's the worst point, others are nothing can say in that price if i go there again, i won't live there again since the location really far from beach, not it's problem.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : if u like enjoy sun shine in beach easily, it's not your choice

The hotel was clean, new and modern. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Location was convenient. We stayed one night in between our stay in
Berjaya and Sheraton resort. We wanted to see the town so we sandwiched one night at Bayview, and I think it was good we did that way. Bayview hotel was a nice, modern and new hotel. We booked an oceanview room which turned out to be clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was rather simple and did not have much choices but considering the rate I paid I think it was okay.
Overall we were satisfied with Bayview hotel and think it was a value for money choice.

spacious room the location is excellent. A lot of food nearby and the room is spacious. You can ask the car agent to drive a car to the hotel for you to rent.
The breakfast is good and staff is nice. I recommend you to stay here if you do not want to stay in resort near the beach
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Rent a car or a motorcycle. Then you can go everywhere you like as the taxi fare is very expensive.

Very nice hotel,lovely large room,very clean,friendly staff,easy to find,nice clean pool. Could do with covers on the beds round the pool. Easy check in,very friendly staff,lovely room and clean,tea and coffee facilities in the room,lovely big bathroom which was a nice surprise.Easy to get round the hotel good notices.Nice breakfast in a light airy dining room.Nice clean pool with plenty of sunbeds around.Easy to get taxis and get out and about.Would recommend this hotel for future stays.
Restaurant Tip : Didn't know the location at all but found a lovely little bar round the corner called 'The Pier' it served great cold beer and a very good selection of food and the people who use it are very friendly and interesting,the owners of The Pier make you feel very welcome and you do want to go back-we did most nights.
