nice decorated, huge rooms and friendly staff

None that I can speak about.

A very nice hotel, having an excellent location. View out of rooms are breathtaking specially sea view. Check-in was very quick and staff very friendly. Hotel has many facilities and best of all centrally located. I would strongly recommend this hotel to other visitors visiting Langkawi and it is of course best value for money.

Best Location, Good food, good swiming pool, very near in eagle square,excelent staff

All are O.K. but food for Asian and Indian not so good, kindly improf it.

Swimming pool is great and clean,pool view is good.

Location far from beach.Reception stuff not so friendly.Bath towel not so clean and old.Swimming pool closing time is too early,7pm.

The hotel rating is average in general. Hotel service need to be improved.Need to extend the swimming pool operating time till night time,as most of the guests only back to hotel at late evening.Breakfast coffee and tea taste bad.Need to replenish some new bath towel as all seems old and with dirty marks on the towel.

Restaurant Tip : There are some thai food restaurant nearby. Taste not bad.

Generally quite clean, friendly staff and very quick check in and check out procedures.

Deteriorating facilities in particular, the TV control does not work fully, the hangers in the closet are broken and the pool looks like it needs a facelift.

The location is very convenient if travellers are coming to Langkawi by ferry. It is about three minutes' drive from Kuah Jetty. The hotel staff are generally friendly and room cleaning is prompt and well organised. The hotel faces the sea on the one side and the hills on the other side. The views are surprisingly good for a hotel located within town limits. As this a town hotel, its facilities (such as the swimming pool and gymnasium) are mainly geared towards business travellers or travellers without kids. However, it is ideally located near shopping malls and eateries.

Good amenities, large rooms, good seaview options

The location is a bit far away from the Cenang beach and needs a 30-minute drive. Other than that, I didn't come across any negatives.

Bayview Hotel is located right in the middle of Kuah town in Langkawi....can easily access duty free shops by walk. The cool thing is there is a taxi stand right opposite the hotel so you can hire a taxi to go to the beach and other interesting places. I stayed there for a couple of days during New Year eve and had a very pleasant experience. The facilities are top class and the in-house restaurant is pretty good. The swimming pool is nice. The Executive Room is one of the biggest rooms I have seen in hotels of this class. Definitely a recommended hotel for those who don't want to spend their entire time at the beach (for that, a beach resort would be better :-)

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There is a night market that opens on Wednesdays quite near to the hotel - good place to eat local food if you don't mind the ambience.

Snacks time between 5pm to 8pm and free usage of the mini bar.

Breakfast needs improvement,it is very poor,especialy the EGG station,appoint some professionals to do the job,very slow and they don't know.Improve the buffet with more choice,it's look like a set menu.

Overall the hotel is good, but the interior needs renovation very badly.The rooms are very spacious,espcially the toilet.

Nice bedroom

The breakfast need to be improved esp the western breakfast.

This hotel was very clean and well appointed with comfortable bed, cable tv, internet wifi and large bathroom. Its staff were friendly, efficient, charming and helpful. Eventhough it was located quite from the beach and airport, the hotel has a nice swimming pool and gym for relaxing and working out. I recommend this hotel esp to those who travel with kids.

The Hotel is clean and smell-free. Service staff is friendly and helpful. Large room, clean and big toilet with nice bath tub.

The Hotel was nice and clean. Check-in and check-out was smooth and hassel-free. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Food at berakfast was good. Room was clean and big with comfortable bed. Toilet was also clean and there was no smell in the room. Lifts were also clean. Pool was little bit small but just nice for us. We got the room at high floor and view from the window was great.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We stayed at this hotel, as it is in heart of Kuah town and there was Night market near the hotel. Also there are lot of duty-free shops nearby. Even Eagle square is just 10-15 mins walk from Hotel.

strategic location in Pekan Kuah, langkawi. Walking distance to shopping heavens for chocolates, batik, silk etc.

due to peak season, the hotel rejected my request for late check out. i would expect the front counter to consider and offer me with smaller room to accomodate few hours late stay. we booked executive suite during our stay. i appreciate their consideration at that time.

My family had a wonderful time in Langkawi. this was the second time we stayed in Bayview. First visit with family was in year 2004. At first, i had diffulties to book a room at Bayview due to last minutes after we cancelled earlier booking few months earlier. In 2 weeks, i managed to search and to confirm reservation at Bayview via Agoda.com. Not very confident on the sucurity booking online, and i make a personal follow up with Bayview Hotel, Langkawi to double confirm the room reservation. I'm happy with their prompt services - hotel and agoda.com. It is highly recommended to plan and booking hotel via agoda as security guranteed and point system. i shall plan for next holiday via agoda as it safe time too. Thanks

Luxurious hotel, nice buffet for breakfast, snacks at the executive lounge, great location for shopping.

Bathroom at room 1208 had clogged drainage. Drain water overflowed when emptying the bathtub.

We preferred our first deluxe room with sea view we had the first two days to this executive room with hill view. The executive room wasn't bad but the deluxe room was more spacious. The bathroom problem aside, it was all still very nice. One perk of the executive room was that we could have coffee and snacks at the executive lounge. A hotel staff also brought fruits and cookies to the room.

Shopping Tip : Really cheap imported chocolate (half-price)and cheap scarves sold at shops around the hotel.

Good location,the 2 rooms that I booked are clean. Walking distance to do my shopping. It took 25 minutes to the Airport. Very convenient if you rent a car from the airport rather than you take a cab.

No water hose in the toilet. I sent my velvet pants for dry cleaning. I was charged expensive but the dirt n the smell was still there when I received back my laundry. I already paid my bills for the 4 days stay through the agent but the reception told me that I still haven't settle yet.

Location is good. Breakfast quite o.k. Check in very fast. Easy to find food and to do shopping as a lots of shops n food stalls near the hotel just a walking distance. Not advisable to send the laundry in the hotel as it is quite expensive and not really clean. Checked what you suppose to pay at the reception counter before you make the payment.

Deluxe Room 804 spacious room, luxurious bathroom with excellent beach view.

Limited parking space

Bayview Hotel has a luxurious feel to it. Beginning with its welcoming reception area with friendly professional staff to its nice spacious rooms and bathrooms. We could also view the swimming pool from our room. The breakfast buffet included had a wide selection to choose from. The location of the hotel in the centre of Kuah town makes it easy and convenient to go to shops and the beach as well as to visit places of interest in Langkawi.

Shopping Tip : Really cheap imported chocolate (half-price)and cheap scarves sold at shops around the hotel.

big room and clean, people are friendly

furnitures are a bit old

this hotel is located in the center of town.But the town is a bit noisy and disordered, which is not what I expected. The services are basically good. People there are very friendly and helpful. Also I like the big room with peaceful bayview and big bath room. However, this hotel is not within walking distance to the popular tourism spots. The closest one is the Eagle square, which is 10 minutes by taxi. In malaysia, it is better to buy prepaid taxi ticket, instead of paying directly to the taxi drivers.

Shopping Tip : I do not recommend the town is a good shopping place.
