Location to town. Big apartments Poor english speaking staff. No HOW TO DO CARDS on anything. Too far away from Island attractions.Old smelly. Breakfast very average.Power supply problems in the rooms. The hotel would have been a jewel in the 60's and 70's, now it is old and tired. We had a large 3 bedroom apartment but only air con in 2 bedrooms. The power would trip out and could only use 1 air con during the day. We had no hot water until the third day due to the power tripping and not being turned back on. We would not go back to this Hotel.
Restaurant Tip : The Grill House next to the pool has good cheap food and fantastically cheap alcohol (The good stuff not the cheap rubbish).

Sea facing room... Friendly and helpful staff and proximity to mall. Clean rooms. Value for money. Good and friendly staff. Stay was comfortable.
Travel tip : Sew view rooms have excellent view.

I love the design of this building. Close to all the major shopping centres. And the pool! Breakfast was less than average. The view from this hotel is, in a word, stunning. The hotel looks amazing and the dining is good. The location is also really great. It is on reclaimed land so there is no major roads or traffic. However it is still close to all the major shopping centres and to the harbour if you need to get a boat to Panang.
Hotel Feature Tip : Ask for the seaview rooms. They do not cost any extra but the view is amazing!

A great outlook of its building!!! I took many photo on using that as the background view. And the swimming pool is with great view, a "skyline" swimming pool! Free WIFI in lobby! Near the jetty. Near the Langkawi "big eagle". Many restaurant and shop nearby. The Inner restaurant is not expensive and delicious! Far from the airport. The room is not big. But I don't care this point. a beautiful hotel. the see view room with great view. the swimming pool with good view. confortable services.

Hotel location is good with fairly good sea view. And hotel outer apprearance is satisfied. a) Service is very poor. In the morning, I was arrived at about 12:30, only 1 lady working for other guests to check out. I was told to wait till 2pm for checking in. Then I can only stored my lugguge at front desk. That night 11:00pm, I want to borrow hair dryer. I was told the house keeping was close, I can only get it from them next Morning.
b) Room facility is pretty old, the blanket on the bed is terrible. Even doesn't want to touch it.
c) There is less choice for breakfast. I was not full with only bread & flied eggs. I would NOT stay in this hotel any more. I believe the other couple (checking in with us at same day)had the similar feeling. Nobody was satified by it.
Restaurant Tip : The Chinese restaurant behind the hotel, is good.

nice rooms, good staff, nice view from the room, near to shopping area. under constructions,(noisy), need to improve on food. the hotel location near to kuah town which i like very much, close to nearby duty free shopping mall, the room that i got were nice and with wide range tv programmes available, that is important to me when i am too tired to go out and want to spend time in the room. however the hotel need to improve on food that they serve, the taste that is. other than noises during the construction, the hotel is just nice to stay when people want to go to langkawi for shopping as their main reason to be there.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : please rent a car before u got there.....

The hotel is very near to the town area. Nice facade and swimming pool. Bella Vista hotel is a nice hotel if you want to stay near to the town area. It's far though from the airport. The room is not that big or clean as well. No bath tub. I was expecting as well that rooms will live up to the same type as the facade of the hotel but it's not. Breakfast is ok. The pool though is ok and clean. Nice view as well. The facade of the hotel is ok which has a touch of european castle type structure. This hotel is not that value for money as you can find other better hotels in Langkawi that offer more value for money.

Nice seaview and cheap room price Furniture and carpet are quite old We booked this hotel because there was a big discount booking through agoda website. We did not expect too much from this hotel due to the cheap price we paid. We were very worry about the cleaningness of the hotel as there were many bad comments seen on the internet. However, it turned out that the standard of the hotel was acceptable. At least we did not see cockroach or ant in the room althrough the furniture and carpet are quite old that needs to be replaced.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Need to walk for 10-15 mins to reach the main road. Otherwise, need to call a taxi from the hotel

seaview, complementary breakfast included even though i didn't include it; if you are renting a car, its less then 5-mins drive to Kuah town or about 10-mins to the Kuah jetty. its still not too bad strolling on foot though. no bath tub and hot water takes a short while to get hot but still acceptable; and very noisy during day time as there was construction going on during my stay. its near to Kuah town where you can get all sort of duty-free product (i went to One Stop as recommended by alot of travellers) as well as Kuah Jetty where you can catch a ferry to various places (eg. Penang). and it being Langkawi island, there shoudn't be problem of getting lost. probably lost of time due to making wrong turn. but do be careful when driving, especially highway through some villages - there could be kids running round, buffallo or cow crossing. ;o)

Bella Vista is nicely located & has got all facilities we needed for the short trip, it also has a travel desk where we got handsome information as it is going through the renovation, there were some few noise In Total, i have a wonderful visit to stay in Hotel Bella Vista
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Bella Vista is a wonderful hotel with nice location in the center of Kuah with all the attractions nearest to the door.

overall it is a good choice to stay, still a lot of area needs improving, the newbie staff seams to have lack of manner, and at the morning during breakfast my plate was taken without saying please or greeted good morning before hand. and at night i was told, twice that they have no one to backup the missing bartender. however the pool side staff is very friendly, as he is politely telling us which is which, upon arrival at the pool, a towel is provided to the time we leave the pool, a greeting from start to finish...
Shopping Tip : kuah town is 7 min to drive...

The view of the Hotel Bella Vista was goods as you have arrange for a good seaview room. No comments on the hotel as it is up to my expectation. It was quit sad as the moment our plane landed at Langkawi airport it was raining till the day we went back and this is the 2nd time we went to Langkawi and have no chanced of sitting the cabble car but we would go once more after 2 to 3 years.
Shopping Tip : It is convenience as arround the hotel there are some seafood store where we can have our dinner and it is near to the kuah town where we can shop for some nice chocolate.

Facing the seaview and great customer service at the reception The food served during breakfast
First, i do encountered some issue during the check in. The coordination was not done properly hence i do not have a room available. But with the help of the friendly reception, he help me to get a room and advise that he will change the room if there is available. Indeed, there is noise during the night which suspected to be caused by the aircon. We went to him the next day and get our room changed to the one that we book online. With this gesture from them, we had a very pleasant stay in the hotel.
Restaurant Tip : Is near to nice seafood restuarant and shopping area.
