Shopping Tip:
Kuah is a great place for shopping. There are many shops and food stalls in kuah. It is 5 minutes from jetty

Great location at the heart of the town

The location is awesome, but the hotel looks tear n wear. Small pool , breakfast only 6 types??? Staff is friendly.
Restaurant Tip:
Try out the restaurant name The fish farm. Is cheap n very nice.

as more bad review submitted plus more about the rooms, i still booked 2 rooms which connected each other because it been renovated and its fits our budget. and it pay off, the room is new and we all happy with it.
the breakfast just so so only nothing excited. the are renovation going on near the pool, so nothing much to do in the hotel which don't have beach but they call it a resort. any how that seems not a problem when you planned all your activity outside.

when we booked the room, it mentioned seaview, sadly upon checking in it was only a partial view from the side window. the room was big and comfortable, good if you have kids but the biggest worry is that eventhough the hotel uses solar power to heat the water, the downside is you have to run the water for 5 minutes before you get hot water. you save electricity but waste water. also hot water was only available in the evenings, when we wanted to bathe the kids in the morning you only get cold water and best is room temperature, not really good for infants though. room service is non existent, requested for water at night but did not receive it it even after check out the next day. complained to reception and they only laughed. well not everything can be perfect but its a good price for a family of four

Lovely hotel but poor breakfast for europeans
great location, lot of food stoles around, spacious room and bathroom

Great room anyway, living room comfortable.

A great chinese restorant called Yang Long (YL) very near hotel (walking distance) exceptional crabs and seefood!

location is very close to the famous seafood restaurants and best duty free shops

happy with the condition of the 2bedrooms suite that i stayed in as it is newly renovated. the check in process is a little frustrating though as the staff is not efficient and taking their own sweet time. many patrons are left waiting in the lobby. the pool is sufficient, could have been better if it is bigger.
Shopping Tip:
go to the warisan duty free shop beside langkawi parade. cheapest of all

Checking in took a long time and the lobby is very hot. There is no air-conditioning at lobby area. The pool is nice and clean. However, the towels had run out when we went to the pool at around 5:30pm. As the pool is very far from the hotel building, we were all shivering when we make our way back to our room after swim. One of the towels provided in my room was dirty. I requested for it to be change. However, it never came. We have to bring it to reception to have it change the next morning.

Great Location but Rooms could have been bigger

Nice quiet place with sea view.
The location is great with lots of choices of restaraunts the hotel.
Its a sort of calm and peacefull location with no disturbance for relaxation.
