great pool, next to beach, and right in town

Hotel was excellent, pool was perfect and can walk directly to the beach. Hosts were very helpful in arrangeing activities. Right in town so shops and restuarants easy to get to. Room was large, clean with cookies delivied daily. Strongly recommend hotel. You can get around the island with a taxi for 4 hours. The best activity was the jet skis. They were great

As close to the beach as you can get!

We had a wonderful time at Casa Del Mar. The hotel is right on the white sand beach which provided for some stunning sunsets from our room's balcony. The food was fantastic (though a bit pricey) and service was also 5* quality as well. Langkawi is a pretty boring island in general.. but for a 3-4 night getaway Casa Del Mar is a perfect spot to destress.

Take the Jet Ski tour!

Wonderful hotel with the personal touch that I like to see. Helpful and friendly staff, always there to answer your questions or arrange things for you. They offer a few free bikes if you want to cycle down the street. The location is good to head out to a few nice venues along the beach.

this wonderful hotel left us with a desire to return. the included breakfasts are elaborate and simply to die for, the dinner menu is fantastic, and the staff are friendly and available. our room was clean and comfortable and we simply felt taken care of. we found the actual beach a bit rough on the feet and spent more time in the pool than the ocean, but thoroughly enjoyed our stay nonetheless.

Cable car takes you up to a nice island panorama view.

Paradise location with attention to detail
The location is fantastic - just open your door and step out onto white sand with the choice of an ocean swim or pool dip.

From the initial staff welcome to the final checkout this was the most relaxing and pampered holiday I've ever experienced. The hotel maintains a smaller friendly botique feel which provides great service, attention to detail and a sense of catering to the individual. Following room checkout at noon we had a long wait for an evening flight but a huge bonus was the hotel provided storage of our luggage and continued use of the pool and facilities until heading off to the airport. I'm planning to return as soon as possible!

i can not believe this location is one of the best in langkawi. i was taking photos of my girlfriend and it was stunningly beautiful. i am telling you from my own experience. when the sunset, the picture is champ and unforgettable.
the restaurant inside casa del mar is very special and very authentic. i can enjoy eating these food with my girlfriend. it tastes much like europe i had been to. breakfast is a must have. i love the breakfast over there.
i strongly advise you take this casa del mar because i had tried other three hotels in langkawi and casa del mar is one of the best. you can enjoy many activities there and you can relax at the beach. plus, you can rent out movies from there and watch inside the room.
the bedroom i had stayed exceeded our expectations. there is a seat outside my room and we can sit and relax on the top outside of room.
the service is the best. last time, we had misfortune event due to visa problem. the staff was very due diligent and we solved all the problem and had all things worked out very well. i am very grateful for casa del mar for giving us the wonderful experience.
next time i visit langkawi, i would definitely go to casa del mar.

Great hotel for a relaxing holiday

Having aboslutely no knowledge of Langkawi or Casa other than online reviews, we were absolutely thrilled with our choice of hotel.
From the moment we arrived until our departure, the beautiful people that work at Casa always greeted us with a smile and couldn't have been more helpful.
Our beachfont room was immaculately clean and was large enough for us. It was great to wake each morning to our beachfront view. Plenty of beach and pool lounges for those lazy days.
We did go out for dinner a couple of times but found ouselves dining in the restaurant because the food was beautiful and the ambience of dining on the beach sand was so relaxing. Breakfasts at Casa del Mar lived up to our expectations, a great way to start your day.
We will be returning to this very special hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Hire a car and drive around the island, it gave us a great insight into the life of the Langkawi people.
Don't worry about shopping in Kuah, nothing much there.

My wife and I were looking for a quiet place to relax in, and we found it here at Casa Del Mar. The dinner we had on the beach was surprisingly delicious, though the price was a bit steep. Overall, it is a thumbs up, we went home totally refreshed.

Had an amazing stay here at casa del mar. Small hotel which gives a great service as not overloaded with guests. We were celebrating honeymoon and had wine delivered to room and chocolates complimentary, nice touch. Rooms very nice and comfortable. We done the castaway picnic which was great and the la Luna dinner on the beach which was fantastic despite the rain. Would for sure recommend this hotel for couples. Spa is also fantastic.
