Check-in and check-out took less than a minute, the reception didn't say a single word during my check-in and check-out. No deposit required.
Room is small, old and smelly.
I understand that it's a budget hotel, but this is a very bad experience I had. After we checked in to the room in the evening, we immediately went out for activities, no one wanted to stay in the room because it's scary.

New furnitures and clean room, located just beside the main road.
A little noisy. No breakfast, which is already charged.
It has great location, just beside the main road from Kuah to Airport, and five minutes walk to Kuah shopping center.Air conditioning needs to be more powerful since it is super hot in the mid of the day. They should provide some bedding instead of the thin blanket, so that customer won't get cold when air conditioner is turned on.
Shopping Tip : Langkawi fair is the cheapest shopping mall in Kuah.

By taxi RM6 to Ferry terminal and RM24 (30 min)to Pentai Cenang (and maybe more to other major beaches)
Langkawi is all about the beaches, and Citin is not near any of them. It may be ok for those who rent a car on the island and who want to spend half an hour before getting into the seawater from the hotel. Laundry outside the hotel is highly recommended because: 1.the laundry is really cheap (RM3 per kilo) and 2.you have do wait for days if you want your clothes dry by themselves in the room and 3.you have to be really creative if you want to hang your wet clothes in the room. BTW, the window of the room cannot be opened in order to prevent unexpected rain; temperature of air-con has to be adjusted by the hotel staff; no remote control for the TV; no water from the faucet
Shopping Tip : There seems to be some duty free shops in town near the hotel, though nothing too attractive to beach lovers.
