Poor service.
Quiet, near the beach, and close to dining and shopping areas.

What could have been a good stay was spoiled by the fact that early the next morning the electricity and water went out for a few hours. When we arrived back to our room after breakfast, the water and electricity were on but the air con wasn't working. We wanted to get freshened up but after a shower we found the room to be hot and sticky. We asked if they could give us a two hour extension on the room but they declined. After some discussion, they finally let us stay for one hour. The hotel was quite empty so there really was no good reason for not letting us stay another hour. It could have been a sign of good will to compensate us for the lack of service provided. But such is the poor quality of customer service.

Great Beach holiday place. We travelled with two children (3 and 6) and had one extra couch provided in the room. We had booked in federal villa which is now part of holiday villa - so we had access to all the holiday villa pools and bars, etc. Rooms in federal villa are spacious with a small balcony. Different cuisines are available in the restaurant at reasonable prices (70-80 RM for two adult/2 child). shops for groceries/bike rentals etc available right outside.

The room is large and clean. The private beach is large and beautiful. But the hotel is a bit far away from town, need to take a taxi.
