Breakfast was an issue. Cafe only opened at 8.15am. Oriental Village outlets didn't open till about 10am.
Geopark hotel was chosen because of its proximity to Seven Wells Waterfall and the Langkawi Cablecar.Hotel is about a 30 minute easy walk and climb to the waterfall. Very pleasant. The hotel is literally right next to the cablecar ticket counter. Although looking for breakfast was an issue, lunch and dinner was not a problem, as there were quite a few outlets open at the Oriental Village complex surrounding the hotel. Try the delicious Rendang (meat curry) and rice at Oriental Cafe. It was just RM5.50 per set. For a tourist location, and the ambience, I think it was a very good deal.
There is also a free shuttle to and from Geopark Hotel to the Mutiara. It appears that the shuttle leaves the Geopark at rather specific times, I think only 3 times a day, but you can get the Mutiara Receptionist to call the Geopark to have the shuttle take you back. I did try it, and a shuttle did appear about 10 minutes after the call. The bedroom is large enough, with a pleasant view of Mat Cincang hill. Bathroom is fine. However, the bedsheets were not 'smooth'. They seemed to be covered in little balls of thread. Perhaps they need new ones. But the price was good. About RM120 a night, without breakfast. So, it's a great base for a night, to explore the waterfall, the cablecar, and the Mutiara Bay area.
Restaurant Tip : Oriental Cafe. Lovely seats, next to a pond. delicious sandwiches, coffee and a to die for rendang. Sandwiches were about RM6, Coffee RM3.50 and the delicious rendang, a steal at RM5.50.

Nice clean rooms and toilets. Friendly staff.
Far from the city. Ideal to stay if you have a car.
We stayed in this hotel for 2 days and needless to say enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean. The cable car is just outside the hotel . The only drawback is that the hotel is very far from the main city area and we could not find nice eating joints near the hotel at night. Its an ideal place to stay in if you have a car. The nearest beach is arnd 1 km.

We have heard to stay in the hotel for two days in particular, signed very close to the cable car and close to the waterfalls there are also shops and restaurants spread in the region
We just need to access the beach for 15 minutes on foot to reach it
The rooms were a bit small .. There was enough for a family suites also did not have the hotel restaurant for breakfast
Staff are friendly and treat them well and the reception was wonderful
Evaluation 60% of rooms and the restaurant does not have a restaurant, swimming pool, 0% of small and distant 40% reception and services 90%
I think maybe in a repeat visit to the hotel again
