Near to Cable cars and a few tourist attraction places like Mahsuri Tomb, Seven Wells and Tanjung Rhu Beaches.
The worker hardly speaks english, poor service and the bathroom quite dirty, overall, poor maintenance of the hotel. and the hotel is located in the theme park, no much privacy, as u can see lots of people wandering around in front of the hotel everyday.
Overall, they worker are quite nice people, can be very helpful if u ask, but less friendly, hardly put smile on their face. The room is quite nice and comfortable, but the bathroom not quite clean. The hotel is located in the theme park, no much privacy, as u can see lots of people wandering around in front of the hotel everyday.
But the plus point are its near to Cable cars and a few tourist attraction places like Mahsuri Tomb, Seven Wells and Tanjung Rhu Beaches.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Seven wells, cable car, mahsuri tomb, Tanjung rhu, nice beaches around the island.

1- Stayed here for an excellent price on Agoda (it was a lot more if you booked directly!)
2- The Hotel had nice rooms and a gd ensuite.
3- The aircon was decent
4-Staff were kind and happy to help
5-You are 20 seconds away from the Cable Car (and no its not noisey)
6-The Oriental Village has about 6 or so places to get food (food court is very cheap but gd)
7- Small animal areas for kids to go in free and see (deers+rabbits)
8- nearby is the Seven Wells Waterfall, very nice once you get up there (bit further than they say tho and on a very steep hill!)
9- Free shuttle to the beach whenever you want it! They take you to the Mutiara Burau Bay Resort and you can use there part of this succluded beautiful bay and their pool :-)
10- Free wifi in Lobby (wifi in room available but at a price)
1- A little way out from other stuff, if you have a car no problem, if not then you wont want too many days here as you can run out of things to do (unless going to the beach to relax-and paying less than half the price for a room at the Burau Bay Resort haha)
2- Breakfast offered is fairly poor. Toast/beans/eggs/some fruit (but all cold - buffet style)
3- Gets busy with tours during the day
4- Not much going on at night...
This Hotel is a good one, and at the price we got for it on Agoda it was brilliant. The staff are friendly and happy to help. The rooms are clean and the aircon is good (quiet too). We probably wouldnt have stayed here at the hotels direct price on their website, but very glad we got to. The wifi in the lobby is free which is nice - prefer it to be free in the rooms too but you have to pay a daily rate if you want that. Breakie is not recommended - unless you can take your own spread down for your toast haha.
The great thing is going down to the Burau Bay Resort and using their beach and pool. They have a part (shares with like 2 other resorts) of the private bay and it is so nice, and the water is a lovely temperature!
Check my pros and cons
Overall a good place to stay for a few days :-)
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go up to Seven Wells Waterfall (its quiet a walk to the top and very steep, but steps all the way). Take your swim wear and have a dip in one of the 'seven wells' (pools).

far away from the nice areas, dirty, ugly, noisy, bad bed, horrible breakfast and the shopping mall where it is located is terrible. Plus it was expensive for the value delivered.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : close to the cable car.

Near cable car station.Warm atmosphere. Close relationship. Lobby is well furnished.Beautiful hotel appearance.Free wifi at lobby. Surrounded by trees. Quiet. Different feel.Convenient shopping atthe Oriental village.
Oriental village close at about sunset time. The environment become too quiet after customers gone. Feeling lonely a bit.Hotel room is value for money but washroom is relatively dirty.
Only 30 seconds away from the Langkawi Cable car station. Residents can choose the best weather time to see the beautiful view of langkawi (compared with those who see nothing on the top of mountain due to smoke in rainy season)! Small hotel offers warm atmosphere and close relationship. Lobby is well furnished. Residents sit together at the lobby to view television and chat with each other face to face--remind me of campus life. Free wifi at lobby. Most important. It is insider a rain forest. When you take a pool side breakfast, you are surrounded by trees. Quiet. Different feel compared with resort and city hotel. My wife like to shop within the Oriental village within which Geopark is situated. Mature can visit the mini museum of geology when kids visit the mini zoo.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Jungle trekking in the forest nearby. Cable car. there is mini zoo and museum of geology studies.

The hotel is clean, all the staff are always smiling and very very helpful.
Room is too small but really it is a very nice room with a great view to the Oriental village.
Very nice and cool hotel , the room i was reserve is small but it fit my small familly , the location for the hotel is too cool for the people like quite and romance , the staff are too helpful and alawys smile , the is a free wireless Internet in the looby , the breakfast is good with many nice choices. Next time the Geopark Hotel will be my first choice to saty in. I advice all to try it. Thanks

I thought the choice of hte Geopark would be great as it would provide an offbeat type of hotel. However, from start to end, I was disappointed. There was no clear signage for the hotel, only the park. The gates were closed and you had to ask before they opened them for you. The staff was not friendly or helpful at the check-in. They don't care whether you come by car, whether you need assistance with luggage, etc.
They don't even tell you that everything closes around 6 pm and you have to drive out for your dinner.
Aside from the cable car ride, there is absolutely nothing else to see or do and your room is cramped! So better to choose a real hotel than this!
Restaurant Tip : Blu Marine - the Italian eatery is brilliant. It is located in a yachting marina along with a row of other restaurants fronting the sea. At the back are some local businesses and it has an adequate wine list to boot!

We (two persons) were picked up from the airport for 20 Ringgit, but we had the airport tourist information call them to remind them of picking us up. I would recommend that, that way you will be picked up the fastest. And the ladies at the tourist information are very helpful in general! The location of the hotel turned out to be just fine. The beach is nice and quiet and you are not in the middle of Pentai Cenang which we would have found extremely annoying and too crowded.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Rent a motorbike to get a feel for the real life of the locals life - its cheap and easy and a lot of fun, there is not much traffic.
